Installation Considerations
The installation, operation, and maintenance of the product should be performed only by qualified,
competent personnel that have received appropriate training for high voltage and current devices.
Caution
If hazardous voltages are mishandled while installing and operating the product in the field, it can cause
serious injury or death.
During normal operation of the product, hazardous voltages are present on the terminals that connect
PTs/CTs, digital inputs, power, and external I/O circuits. The PT/CT secondary can produce lethal voltage or
current caused by the energy of the primary.
Standard safety precautions should be followed during the installation and maintenance of the product,
including removing PT fuses and shorting CT secondaries.
Install the product in enclosures or a similar cabinet to prevent access to the terminal strips of the product
after wiring.

Caution
Observe the following instructions, or it may cause permanent damage to the product.
Do not apply voltages and currents that exceed the input ratings of the PT and CT to the product.
Using the device for other purposes not specified by the manufacturer can cause severe damage to the
product.
Connect the chassis ground terminal of the product to the earth ground to protect the device from noise
and surge. Failure to properly connect the chassis ground will void the warranty of the product.

Warranty
Rootech Inc. provides warrants for two years from the product receipt date only to the original purchaser
of the products and software that are sold or licensed by the company.
To obtain warranty service, the purchased products should be free from serious defects in material and
workmanship.
The software is provided in an up-to-date version, thus we do not offer any warranty for the software
product.
In order to make a product claim under the warranties described above, the original purchaser should
immediately contact Rootech headquarters. Upon receiving claims, Rootech will check out the product
either at where the purchaser is or at the company after receiving the product from the customer, who is
responsible for the cost of shipping the product. After inspecting the product, we will provide repair or
replacement services for the product.
Rootech will decide at its discretion whether to repair or replace it or give a refund for the product for
when the warranty period for the product expired or issues related to the product are not applicable for
warranty terms and conditions.
Limitation of Warranty
The Warranty does not apply to uninterrupted or error-free operation of the product or cover normal wear
and tear of the product or costs caused by the removal, installation, or troubleshooting of the customer's
electrical systems.
Defects caused by any of the following factors are not covered under the warranty.
Improper use(alteration, accident, misuse, abuse) or failure to act in accordance with installation,
operation or maintenance instructions
Unauthorized modifications, changes or repair attempts
Failure to comply with applicable safety standards & regulations
Damages coming from when transporting or storing the product
Damages caused by the force majeure event, including fire, flood, earthquakes, storm damage,
overvoltage & lightning
If the original identification marks(trade-mark, serial number, etc.) have been defaced, altered, or
removed

Rootech shall not be liable for any other claims except the claims made by customers, including the
original purchaser, his employees, agents, or contractors for any loss, damage, or expense incurred related
to the purchased product when the above warranty terms and conditions are not fulfilled.
Any technical assistance with system design provided by Rootech's personnel or representatives shall be
deemed to be a suggestion. The original purchaser is responsible for determining the feasibility of such
suggestions and should conduct tests to prove their feasibility.
It is the original purchasers responsibility to determine the suitability of the product and associated
documentation. The original purchaser should acknowledge that 100% up time is not realizable because
of possible hardware or software defects. The original purchaser should recognize that such defects and
failures may cause inaccuracies or malfunctions.
No agency, corporate entity, or employee of Rootech or other companies has authority to amend, modify
or extend the terms and conditions of this warranty in any way without express written authorization from

Installation Example
The following figure shows an example of installing devices for temperature and humidity measurement
in the industrial control panel. Accura 2300[S] and Accura 2350-TEMP devices are installed at the front of
the panel, and multiple Accura TSEN/THSEN devices are installed inside the panel. The Accura 2350-TEMP
module has 1 DI(Digital Input) and 1 DO(Digital Output) channel, allowing for the installation of the event
reset switch and warning light.

Step 1: Installing Accura 2350-TEMP
Panel Mounting
It is very easy to install the Accura 2350-TEMP module at the front of the industrial control panel.
Position the Accura 2350-TEMP module into the panel cutout.
Fit the mounting wheel into the screw thread at the back of Accura 2350-TEMP.
Turn the mounting wheel to the right and fix Accura 2350-TEMP to the panel.
You can easily turn the wheel with your hands. If you use excessive force when turning the wheel, it can
cause damage to the LCD screen of the Accura 2350-TEMP module.

Connecting Accura 2350-TEMP to Accura 2300[S]
Accura 2350-TEMP is connected to Accura 2300[S] using the RJ12A/RJ12B port on the side of the module
through the RJ12 6C communication cable. Accura 2350-TEMP receives power from Accura 2300[S] via the
communication cable.

Step 2: Installing Accura TSEN/THSEN
The Accura TSEN/THSEN device can be installed by using either the panel mounting or DIN Rail mounting
method.
Panel Mounting
Fit the screw holes of the device’s mounting wings into the mounting holes of the panel.
Fix Accura TSEN/THSEN to the panel using the screws.

DIN Rail Mounting
Fit the bottom portion of the Accura TSEN/THSEN device into the DIN rail on one side.
Once one side of the device is latched on the rail, push the other side towards the panel so that
Accura TSEN/THSEN can get snapped onto both ends of the DIN rail flanges.

Connecting Accura 2350-TEMP to Accura TSEN/THSEN
Accura 2350-TEMP is connected to Accura TSEN/THSEN using the port on the back of the module through
the RJ45 communication cable. Accura TSEN/THSEN receives power from Accura 2350-TEMP via the
communication cable.

Accura TSEN/THSEN measures temperature and humidity in the industrial control panel with its built-in
sensor. It connects to the Accura 2350-TEMP module with communication cables and sends data on the
measured temperature and humidity to the Accura 2350-TEMP module.
Up to 6 Accura TSEN/THSEN devices can be connected to the Accura 2350-TEMP module using the daisy-
chain method. Accura TSEN/THSEN devices can be installed at multiple locations in the panel requiring
temperature and humidity measurement, allowing for the overall temperature and humidity monitoring in
the panel. For details about how to connect Accura TSEN/THSEN devices using the daisy-chain method,
refer to Chapter 1 Installation & Wiring > Step 2: Installing Accura TSEN/THSEN.

ID Setup
Users can set up the communication ID with numbers from 1 to 6 by rotating the rotary switch located at
the top of the device. Up to 6 Accura TSEN/THSEN devices can be connected to the Accura 2350-TEMP
module using the daisy-chain method. The factory default ID number is set to 0. The ID 0 indicates the
standby ID that does not support communication.

Accura 2350-TEMP Operation/Setup
Installed at the front of the industrial control panel, the Accura 2350-TEMP module is connected with
Accura 2300[S] using a communication cable. It receives power from Accura 2300[S] via the cable. The
Accura 2350-TEMP module measures the external temperature of the panel with its built-in temperature
sensor located at the front bottom of the device. By connecting with up to 6 Accura TSEN/THSEN devices
using the daisy-chain method, the Accura 2350-TEMP module collects data on internal temperature and
humidity at multiple locations of the panel.
Users can check data on measured temperatures and set up events related to the temperatures on the
Accura 2350-TEMP module. Event alarms occur according to the settings, and users can check detailed
event data. Users can reset settings for external temperature events only on the Accura 2350-TEMP module.
However, for the events detected by the Accura TSEN/THSEN device, users can reset event alarms only
with the RESET button on the Accura TSEN/THSEN device.

THSEN devices, refer to Chapter 1 Installation and Wiring > Step 1: Installing Accura 2350-TEMP.
