SECO-LARM USA SD-997A adds concealed deadbolt security to most wood or hollow metal doors, with the added convenience of electrical operation. It features fail-secure operation (locks if power is lost), a stainless steel bolt with 5/8” diameter and 5/8” throw, and includes a control wire that allows for releasing without cutting the unit's power. The door open/close monitor (NO/C/NC) and magnetic switch that senses door position ensure positive locking. The solenoid attempts to lock several times and then shuts down if the door is not closed properly to prevent burnout.
