INTENDED USE
These appliances are designed exclusively to grind pepper, salt, and other dried spices.
The
grinders are for private use only and are not intended to be used for commercial
purposes.
Only use the grinders as described in this instruction manual and pay attention to the
safety
information. No liability for damages or accidents will be accepted, which are
caused by not
paying attention to the instruction manual.
GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Risk of Injury
People (including children) who are not able to use the appliances in a safe way,
due
to their physical, sensorial or mental capacity or their lack of experience or
knowledge, must never use the appliances except if they are supervised by a person
responsible for their safety.
Children shall not play with the appliances.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are super-
vised.
WARNING! Do not allow small children to play with the packaging there is a danger of
suffocation.
Risk of Damage
Never immerse the grinders in water or any other liquid for any reason whatsoever.
Only fill the transparent grinding container to 80%. Otherwise, the grinders may be
damaged.
Do not try to repair the appliances on your own. Never open the casing of the grinders.
The warranty is not valid for repairs or tampering by the customer or unauthorized
third parties.
Notes on handling batteries
Improper battery use may result
in
a fire, explosion, or other hazard.
If your skin or eyes come into contact with battery fluid, flush out the affected areas
with water and seek medical assistance.
DANGER! Small children and pets may swallow and choke on batteries. Store the
batteries out of the reach of small children and pets.
Observe the plus (+) and minus (-) polarity signs.
Protect the batteries from excessive heat and never throw batteries into a fire. RISK OF
EXPLOSION!
Do not expose batteries to extreme conditions. For example, storing them on a
radiator or under direct sunlight.
