Installation:
1. Attach the rails to the bottom of the basin using a bead of silicone.
Ensure that the rails are in line to the back of the basin by holding the
basin up against a flat surface (see diagram 1). Leave the silicone to
set for 12 hours.
2. Position the basin at the desired height, ensuring that it is straight by
using a spirit level. Mark the position of the fixing brackets using a so
pencil (see diagram 2).
3. Before drilling, ensure there are no hidden cables or pipes
behind the mounting points. Using a masonry drill, drill holes in
the marked positions to a suitable depth. If drilling through tile, use a
ceramic drill bit.
4. Insert wall plugs level with the surface of the wall. If fitting to a tiled
surface, wall plugs should be inserted below the tile surface to avoid
cracking. NB. For plasterboard walls, specialist fixings should be
purchased, available from any DIY or hardware store.
5. Hold the basin in place against the wall and bolt it through the holes
in the brackets into the wall plugs using the coach bolts provided.
For added strength, use washers between the coach bolts and the
bracket (see diagram 3).
6. Apply a bead of silicone around the top and side edges of the basin
(see diagram 4). Leave the silicone to set for 12 hours.
