BEA GS-1

The BEA GS-1 is a compact gate sensor that uses microwave and microprocessor technology to detect motion. It has a detection area of 2.40 m (W) x 3.60 m (D) and a minimum speed detection of 5 cm/s. The sensor is powered by a 12V to 24V DC power supply and has a power consumption of less than 2W. It has an output transistor (open collector) with a maximum current of 60 mA and a voltage drop of 2 V at 10mA. The sensor has a temperature range of -20°C to +55°C and conforms to EMC 2004/108/EC. It measures 40 mm (W) x 30 mm (H) x 30 mm (D) and weighs 140g. The cable length is 1 m

SYMPTOMS POSSIBLE CAUSES
CORRECTIVE ACTION
The gate will not open and no red LED lights up. The sensor power is off. Check the wiring and the power supply.
The gate opens and closes constantly. The sensor "sees" the gate
moving.
Increase the tilt angle and/or reduce the
sensitivity.
Closing the gate creates
vibrations picked up by the
sensor.
Ensure that the sensor is correctly fixed to avoid
vibrations.
