A. Caution:
Usage of controls or adjustments or performance of procedures other than those specified
herein may result in hazardous radiation exposure.
This unit should not be adjusted or repaired by anyone except qualified service personnel.
PRECAUTIONS BEFORE USE
KEEP THESE INSTRUCTIONS IN MIND:
1. Do not use this device near water.
2. Clean only with a slightly damp cloth.
3. Do not cover or block any ventilation openings. When placing the device on a shelf, leave
5 cm (2”) free space around the whole device.
4. Install in accordance with the supplied user manual.
5. Don’t step on or pinch the power adaptor. Be very careful, particularly near the plugs and
the cable’s exit point. Do not place heavy items on the power adaptor, which may damage
it. Keep the entire device out of children’s reach! When playing with the power cable, they
can seriously injure themselves.
6. Unplug this device during lightning storms or when unused for a long period.
7. Keep the device away from heat sources such as radiators, heaters, stoves, candles and
other heat-generating products.
8. Avoid using the device near strong magnetic fields.
9. Electrostatic discharge can disturb normal usage of this device. If so, simply reset and
restart the device following the instruction manual. During file transmission, please handle
with care and operate in a static-free environment.
10. Warning! Never insert an object into the product through the vents or openings. High
voltage flows through the product and inserting an object can cause electric shock and/or
short circuit internal parts. For the same reason, do not spill water or liquid on the product.
11. Do not use in wet or moist areas such as bathrooms, steamy kitchens or near swimming
pools.
12. Do not use this device when condensation may occur.
13. Although this device is manufactured with the utmost care and checked several times
before leaving the factory, it is still possible that problems may occur, as with all electrical
appliances. If you notice smoke, an excessive build-up of heat or any other unexpected
phenomena, you should disconnect the plug from the main power socket immediately.
14. This device must be well ventilated at all time!
15. This device must operate on a power source as specified on the specification label. If you
are not sure of the type of power supply used in your home, consult your dealer or local
power company.
16. The socket outlet must be installed near the equipment and must be easily accessible.
17. Do not overload ac outlets or extension cords. Overloading can cause fire or electric shock.
18. Devices with class 1 construction should be connected to a main socket outlet with a
protective earthed connection.

19. Devices with class 2 construction do not require an earthed connection.
20. Keep away from rodents. Rodents enjoy biting on power cords.
21. Always hold the plug when pulling it out of the main supply socket. Do not pull the power
cord. This can cause a short circuit.
22. Avoid placing the device on any surfaces that may be subject to vibrations or shocks.
23. To protect the device during a thunderstorm, unplug the ac power adaptor.
24. When the device is not in use for long periods, unplug the ac power adaptor for safety
reasons.
25. To clean the device, use a soft dry cloth. Do not use solvents or petrol based fluids. To
remove severe stains, you may use a damp cloth with dilute detergent.
26. The supplier is not responsible for damage or lost data caused by malfunction, misuse,
modification of the device or battery replacement.
27. Do not interrupt the connection when the device is formatting or transferring files.
Otherwise, data may be corrupted or lost.
28. The USB memory stick should be plugged into the unit directly. Don’t use an USB extension
cable because it can cause interference resulting in failing of data.
29. The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and make sure that no objects
filled with liquids, such as vases, are placed on or near the apparatus.
30. To completely disconnect the power input, the mains plug of the apparatus shall be
disconnected from the mains, as the disconnect device is the mains plug of apparatus.
31. The mains plug of the apparatus should not be obstructed or should be easily accessed
during intended use.
32. Battery shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like.
33. Minimum distance of 10cm around the apparatus is needed for sufficient ventilations.
34. The ventilation should not be impeded by covering the ventilation openings with items
such as newspapers, table-cloths, curtains etc.
35. No naked flame sources such as lighted candles should be placed on the apparatus.
36. Attention should be drawn to the environmental aspects of battery disposal.
37. The apparatus can only be used in moderate extremely cold or climates warm
environments should be avoided.
38. The rating label has been marked on the bottom panel of the apparatus.
39. This device is not intended for use by people (including children) with physical, sensory or
mental disabilities, or a lack of experience and knowledge, unless theyre under
supervision or have received instructions about the correct use of the device by the person
who is responsible for their safety.
40. This product is intended for household use only and not for commercial or industrial use.
41. Make sure the unit is adjusted to a stable position. Damage caused by using this product in
an unstable position or by failure to follow any other warning or precaution contained
within this user manual will not be covered by warranty.
42. Never remove the casing of this apparatus.
43. Never place this apparatus on other electrical equipment.
44. Do not use or store this product in a place where it is subject to direct sunlight, heat,
excessive dust or vibration.

45. Do not clean this product with water or other liquids.
46. Do not block or cover the slots and holes in the product.
47. Do not push foreign objects into the slots or holes in the product.
48. Do not allow children access to plastic bags.
49. Please check that the voltage on the type plate of your appliance corresponds with your
house electricity supply (type plate is located on the back of the unit).
50. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched, particularly at plugs,
convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus.
51. Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
52. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus
has been damaged in any way, such as the power supply cord or the plug, when liquid has
been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, when the apparatus has been
exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.
53. Do not use a damaged power cord or plug or a loose outlet. Doing so may result in fire or
electric shock.
Warning: prolonged exposure to loud sounds from personal music players may lead to
temporary or permanent hearing loss.
INSTALLATION
Unpack all parts and remove protective material.
Do not connect the unit to the mains before checking the mains voltage and before all
other connections have been made.
Do not cover any vents and make sure that there is a space of several centimeters around
the unit for ventilation.

C. About the rechargeable Battery & Charge
This Bluetooth Speaker has an internal, non–user-replaceable battery. For
best results, the first time you use this Bluetooth Speaker, let it charge for
about 2 ~ 3 hours, or until the Charge LED (8)” light red switch to Off
which show you the battery is fully charged.
For maintain the battery life and performance, if speaker isn’t used for a
while, the battery might need to be recharged. Charge the battery at
least once every month.
To recharge the built-in battery:
1. Connect the Bluetooth Speakers Micro USB Socket (9)” with the
Computers USB port through the USB cable (provided) or with
USB/AC adaptor (not provided).
2. The Charge LED (8)” will light red, the battery is in charging.
3. The Charge LED (8)” will light off when the battery fully charged.
4. Disconnect the USB cable when it is done.
D. Power ON/OFF and Pairing
1. Short press the (4)” button to turn on the device, a series of
tones will sound and the “MODE Indicator (2)” will rapidly flash blue
in seconds from blinks. The speaker is in Bluetooth pairing mode.

2. Then activate the Bluetooth function in your mobile device (such as
Smartphone or Personal Computer), the device will enter to
Bluetooth searching mode automatically, if not, tap the related
selection to manually enter to searching mode. (refer to your device’s
manual when necessary)
3. Your mobile device should show “Lenco BT-120 in Bluetooth Devices
list, and then select it for pairing. Waiting for some seconds and you
will see connected message as shown on your mobile device. (For
some Bluetooth devices, you may need to input “0000” as pairing
password)
4. If pairing is successful, a beep sound will heard and the “MODE
Indicator (2)” will switch to slow blinking blue from fast.
5. Now, you can start to music play from your mobile device by its music
player program.
6. To power OFF the speaker, press and hold the (4)” button.
Note: For saving battery energy, the Bluetooth Speaker will turn to off
mode automatically when no device is in paired in 8 minutes.
E. Disconnect from paired device
1. To disconnect with paired device, for better result turn Off the
Bluetooth Speaker directly. Or;
2. You can choose “Disconnect from Bluetooth paired device list or
turn “Off the Bluetooth function on your mobile device.
3. In this case; the Bluetooth Speaker will switch back to
“Searching/Pairing mode automatically itself, a series of tones will
sound and the “MODE Indicator (2)” will rapidly flash blue again from
slow blinking.
4. Now, you can process for new mobile device pair or power Off the
Bluetooth Speaker as you wanted. (refer to item D.2 ~ D.5 methods
mentioned above)

F. Auto re-connect with paired device and New pairing
1. Every time you turn On the Bluetooth speaker power; it will firstly
searching for the mobile device, which has paired previously and still
in record. The Bluetooth Speaker will re-connect this mobile device as
priority if it is in Bluetooth searching device mode and connection
range.
2. If not found in some seconds, the Bluetooth Speaker then will turn
into new pairing mode internally.
3. Now you can process for new mobile device to pair. (refer to item
D.2~D.5 methods mentioned above)
G. Switch to new pairing from connected mode
1. In Bluetooth connected mode, you can switch the Bluetooth Speaker
into Bluetooth searching/pairing mode for paring with the new
device at any time you desired;
2. Press and hold the / (6)” button until a series of tones sound,
the “MODE Indicator (2)” will switch to rapidly flash blue from
connected mode.
3. Now you can process for new mobile device pair. (refer to item
D.2~D.5 methods mentioned above)
H. Bluetooth Music Playing Control Function
1. In playing music, press the / (6)” button to pause the playing
music. To resume press it again.
2. Press and hold the (7)” button to increase the volume level.
3. Press and hold the (5)” button to decrease the volume level.
4. When maximum or minimum volume is reached, a beep sound will
heard.
5. Press once the (7)” button to go to next music.
6. Press once the (5)” button to go to previous music.
I. Hand Free Function
1. When there is an incoming call during Bluetooth music playing mode;
2. The ringing sound will up and the playing music will pause automatically.

3. Press the / (6)” button to pick up the call if you want.
4. Now you have hand free function with the Bluetooth speaker.
5. Press the / (6)” button again to hang up the call when finished.
And the paused music will resume playing automatically.
6. Press and hold the / (6)” button for 3 seconds to ignore the
incoming call.
Tip: speak to the MIC (1)” hole direct with distance in 30 ~ 60cm to get
the best speakerphone performance when necessary.
J. Redial For Last Call Function
1. To redial for last called number by the Bluetooth Speaker, even it is in
music playing mode.
2. Press twice the / (6)” button to enter into redial function, the
playing will pause and switch to hand free function for redial.
3. Press the / (6)” button again to hang up the redial call.
4. Make sure that your mobile phone has have last dial call used, if not,
the redial for last call function cannot be activated.
K. AUX IN Function
1. In power ON mode, connect the Bluetooth Speakers AUX IN Jack
(10)” with an external device’s “Earphone/AUX/LINE” Output
through the Audio Cable (Provided).
2. The Bluetooth Speaker will switch to AUX In” mode automatically
from Bluetooth mode, and the “MODE Indicator (2)” will switch to
long light red from blinking.
3. Now the AUX In function is ready, start to music play from your
external device by it control and or program, for example, Play, Stop,
volume control…etc.
4. You also can use Bluetooth Speaker control;
5. Press and hold the (7)” button to increase the volume level.
6. Press and hold the (5)” button to decrease the volume level.
7. When maximum or minimum volume is reached, a beep sound will
heard.

8. Disconnect the Audio cable when it is done.
L. Use Micro SD Card
1. Insert your Micro SD memory card into speakers memory card slot;
make sure that the memory card is firmly and correctly inserted.
2. Power On the device, the “MODE Indicator (2)” will switch to blink
red from current color;
3. It is in Micro SD Card playback mode and the music will play in second
automatically.
4. The device also provide last track memory playback function, which
allow to playback the last track where you escape when every time
you switch back to Micro SD/TF Card playback mode.
Remark: The last track memory function will correct and use new track
data if last inserted Micro SD/TF memory card has changed to other card.
M. Change Modes
1. Short press the (4)” button can switch mode from current using
mode to next mode if SD memory card and or AUX IN cable are in
place.
2. Each press the (4)” button can mode from “Bluetooth” >
“SD/TF” > “AUX IN” repeatedly for example.
N. Low Power Reminder And Power Off
1. The Bluetooth Speaker will send tones sound from speaker by every
minute. When you heard this reminder sound, please connect the
device with USB power for charge if you still want to use the device.
2. If not, the Bluetooth Speaker will power off automatically when the
battery is keeping low energy level in some minutes.
3. In this case, the device cannot be turned on, until you recharging the
battery at least 10 ~ 15 minutes, because the rechargeable battery
has not enough energy.
4. Short press the (4)” button to turn on the device after charged
with enough energy if you want.

O. Reset the device
1. In some circumstances the device’s function may hanging and need to
reset.
2. To reset the Bluetooth speaker, short press (5)” and (7)”
button at the same time.
3. Short press the (4)” button to turn on and restart the device
after reset is done.
Important: Do not reset the device if it is in proper working.
P. Trouble Shooting
Not On
•Check if battery is charged enough.
No sound
•Check whether volume level is in lower position on
your speaker and mobile phone or PC/Mac.
•Make sure that your Bluetooth device is within the
effective operation range.
•Check whether the Bluetooth device is paired.
•Check whether the Bluetooth device show connected.
•Check if you have selected the correct audio source.
•If using AUX IN port, be sure the 3.5mm jack cable is
securely inserted into Bluetooth Speaker and your
device
No response
from speaker
•Restart the speaker by reset function.
