Product Change

In order to improve supply efficiency, 3M is transitioning the insulator material

color for select DIN and CompactPCI-CP2 product lines to Pantone 428C

effective immediately (see color swatch on the right).

This is only a change to the color of the insulator material, not the insulator itself; therefore, the

functionality and technical characteristics of the connector will remain the same. Furthermore, part

numbers will not change due to this transition. All part numbers beginning with “DIN” or “CP2” in

the Tech Sheets listed below are impacted by this change:

Inventory of Pantone 430C-colored DIN connectors and Pantone 413C-colored CP2 connectors still

exist. However, 3M cannot guarantee availability to any specific date. Orders received by 3M from

this date forward will be shipped in either insulator material color, at 3M’s discretion, until raw

material stocks are depleted.
