Product Change Notice

Molded Assembly, 1M Series TS-2149 Connector Callout: A1

In order to further enhance reliability, a molded rib will be added across the openings on the top of the 3M

.100”

Molded-On PCB retention solder tail product. This rib is currently present on all sockets and non-retention tail PCBs.

The rib adds stability to the top of the IDC connector and helps prevent ingress of foreign material. All retention tail

PCB connector assemblies built in the new North American source of supply will feature this new rib. Malaysia is still

working on their release schedule for this retention solder tail product change and will send notification of the dates of

their transition in a separate communication.
