Please read all instructions prior to installation and keep for future reference!
1. Product should be installed by a qualified electrician.
2. Prior to installation ensure power is off at fuse box to prevent electrical shock.

If required for installation cut down ALE aluminum extrusion to
desired length with hacksaw or miter saw that has an appropriate
blade for cutting aluminum. Always wear safety goggles when
cutting.

Drill location for mounting holes at appropriate intervals, after
locating stud supports in the wall. Ensure appropriate drill bit is
used to drill in the aluminum extrusion.
Attach ALE aluminum extrusion to main supporting surface or
studs. Use appropriate screws to affix extrusion to mounting
material - e.g. drywall screws for drywall installation or wood
screws for installation on studs.

If required to fit the new ALE extrusion length, cut down the Line
LED strip in between two rows of solder pads. Always cut Line LED
from end without connector / wire leads. Ensure that Line LED strip
fits completely inside the extrusion and the solder pads do not
touch the metal end caps to avoid shorting of circuit.

Remove paper-backing from adhesive tape on the back of the
Line LED strip before installing onto the ALE extrusion. Once the
Line LED strip is in place, snap on the diffuser lens. Remove the
protective film from the lens.

Ensure power is off to power supply!
Then proceed to connect Line LED wires from ALE
extrusion to power supply. Connection can be established
with lead wires or quick-connect powerfeed. For more
information please refer to power supply and Line LED
wiring instructions.

When drywall has been installed,
proceed to wiring Line LED to power
supply. See next step.

After the Line LED has been
installed inside the extrusion and
the lens has been snapped in
place, the drywall can simply
rest on the smaller flange of the
ALE extrusion.
