Revisions to the Multiplate analyzer Operator’s Manual
In order to ensure that readers of the Multiplate analyzer Operator’s Manual use the
most up-to-date content, Roche recommends to manually mark the affected
passage(s) in the original manual.
To update the Multiplate analyzer Operator’s Manual:
1. In the current chapter Revisions, go to the first revision.
2. Familiarize yourself with the items that have been revised.
3. Identify the page number affected in the original document.
4. Go to the appropriate page in the original document and manually mark the
revisions. For example, cross out text that is no longer applicable or add a
reference where to find new and revised content.

Data alarms are shown in the Patient ID panel after the measurement is completed.

The following data alarms can occur.

Decreasing curve All measuring values
are decreasing. All

with the value zero.
The NaCl was not preheated. 1. Repeat the measurement making sure
that NaCl is preheated.
2. If the data alarm persists, contact
your Roche Service representative.
Sensor cable No test cell signal can
be detected.
o The sensor cable of the affected
channel was not plugged in correctly
or was unplugged during the
measurement.
o The sensor cable of the affected
channel is defect.
1. Check the sensor cable of the affected
channel and plug it in correctly.
2. Check that the sensor cable jacks are
clean and no liquid was spilled.
3. Repeat the measurement.
4. If the data alarm persists, repeat the
measurement using a new sensor
cable for the affected channel.
5. If the data alarm persists, contact
your Roche Service representative.
No stir bar The magnetic stirrer
bar cannot be
detected during
measurement.
The magnetic stirrer bar in the affected test
cell is not present or is blocked.
1. Check in the affected test cell that the
magnetic stirrer bar is present and
that it is not blocked.
2. Unblock the magnetic stirrer bar and
repeat the measurement.
3. If the data alarm persists, contact
your Roche Service representative.
