WALL MOUNT INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1) Pass fixture wire through swivel and thread swivel into hole on top of fixture body.
2) Pass fixture wire through coupling. Thread coupling onto end of swivel.
3) Pass fixture wire through small threaded pipe. Screw end of small threaded pipe
into end of coupling.
4) Pass fixture wire through hole in canopy. Lower canopy down and pass hole in
canopy over end of threaded pipe on coupling.
5) Pass fixture wire through hole in lockwasher. Thread lockwasher onto end of
threaded pipe protruding from inside canopy.
6) Pass fixture wire through hole in hexnut. Thread hexnut onto end of threaded pipe.
7) TURN OFF POWER.
IMPORTANT: Before you start, NEVER attempt any work without shutting off the
electricity until the work is done.
a) Go to the main fuse, or circuit breaker, box in your home. Place the main
power switch in the “OFF” position.
b) Unscrew the fuse(s), or switch “OFF” the circuit breaker switch(s), that control
the power to the fixture or room that you are working on.
c) Place the wall switch in the “OFF” position. If the fixture to be replaced has a
switch or pull chain, place those in the “OFF” position.
8) Find the appropriate threaded holes on mounting strap. Assemble mounting
screws into threaded holes.
9) Attach mounting strap to outlet box. (Screws not provided) Mounting strap can be
adjusted to suit position of fixture.
10) Follow steps 11 and 12 in Stem Drop Installation Instructions.
11) Push fixture to wall, carefully passing mounting screws through holes in canopy.
12) Screw knurl knobs onto mounting screws. Tighten knurl knobs to secure
fixture to wall.
13) Lower glass down over socket. Pass hole in glass over socket.
14) Lower larger washer down over socket. Pass hole in washer over socket. Set washer
down inside glass.
15) Thread socket ring onto socket. Tighten socket ring to hold glass in place.
(DO NOT over tighten.)
16) Insert recommended bulb. CAUTION: DO NOT touch bulb with bare hands. If this
happens, clean bulb with denatured alcohol and a lint free cloth.
17) Lower glass sleeve down over bulb. Carefully thread glass sleeve onto socket.
(DO NOT over tighten.)

STEM MOUNT INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1) Pass wire from fixture through stem and screw stem to top of coupling.
NOTE: Thread locking compound must be applied to all stem threads as noted
with symbol (3) to prevent accidental rotation of fixture during cleaning, relamping, etc.
2) Pass fixture wire through remaining stems and screw stems together.
3) Pass fixture wire through swivel and thread swivel onto top of last stem.
4) Pass fixture wire through small threaded pipe. Screw end of small threaded pipe
into end of swivel.
5) Pass fixture wire through hole in canopy. Lower canopy down and pass hole in
canopy over end of threaded pipe on swivel.
6) Pass fixture wire through hole in lockwasher. Thread lockwasher onto end of
threaded pipe protruding from inside canopy.
7) Pass fixture wire through hole in hexnut. Thread hexnut onto end of threaded pipe.
NOTE DIRECTION OF SWIVEL IN ACCORDANCE WITH CEILING.
8) TURN OFF POWER.
IMPORTANT: Before you start, NEVER attempt any work without shutting off the
electricity until the work is done.
a) Go to the main fuse, or circuit breaker, box in your home. Place the main
power switch in the “OFF” position.
b) Unscrew the fuse(s), or switch “OFF” the circuit breaker switch(s), that control
the power to the fixture or room that you are working on.
c) Place the wall switch in the “OFF” position. If the fixture to be replaced has a
switch or pull chain, place those in the “OFF” position.
9) Find the appropriate threaded holes on mounting strap. Assemble mounting
screws into threaded holes.
10) Attach mounting strap to outlet box. (Screws not provided). Mounting strap can
be adjusted to suit position of fixture.
11) Grounding instructions: (See Illus. A or B).
A) On fixtures where mounting strap is provided with a hole and two raised
dimples. Wrap ground wire from outlet box around green ground screw, and
thread into hole.
B) On fixtures where a cupped washer is provided. Attach ground wire from
outlet box under cupped washer and green ground screw, and thread into
mounting strap.
If fixture is provided with ground wire. Connect fixture ground wire to outlet box
ground wire with wire connector. (Not provided.) After following the above steps.
Never connect ground wire to black or white power supply wires.
12) Make wire connections (connectors not provided.) Reference chart below for
correct connections and wire accordingly.
13) Push fixture to ceiling, carefully passing mounting screws through holes in canopy.
14) Thread knurl knobs onto mounting screws. Tighten knurl knobs to secure fixture
to ceiling.
15) Lower glass down over socket. Pass hole in glass over socket.
16) Lower larger washer down over socket. Pass hole in washer over socket. Set washer
down inside glass.
17) Thread socket ring onto socket. Tighten socket ring to hold glass in place.
(DO NOT over tighten.)
18) Insert recommended bulb. CAUTION: DO NOT touch bulb with bare hands. If this
happens, clean bulb with denatured alcohol and a lint free cloth.
19) Lower glass sleeve down over bulb. Carefully thread glass sleeve onto socket.
(DO NOT over tighten.)
SEMI FLUSH INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1) Pass fixture wire through small threaded pipe. Screw small threaded pipe into
coupling on top of fixture body.
2) Pass fixture wire through hole in canopy. Lower canopy down and pass hole in
canopy over end of threaded pipe. Set canopy on top of coupling.
3) Pass fixture wire through hole in lockwasher. Thread lockwasher onto end of
threaded pipe protruding from inside canopy.
4) Pass fixture wire through hole in hexnut. Thread hexnut onto end of threaded pipe
