This kit is designed to be installed on a Servend Ice/Beverage Dispenser. It includes a heater kit, transformer, timer agitator, and screw. The timer agitator has four terminals: COM, 230VAC, NEUTRAL, and NO. The transformer is a 220/26VAC transformer.

The kit can be used to:

  • Heat the motor bracket
  • Transform the voltage from 220VAC to 26VAC
  • Agitate the ice/beverage dispenser

The kit is easy to install and comes with all the necessary hardware. It is also backed by a one-year warranty.

Subject: Motor Bracket Heater Timer & Transformer Kit
These steps are for installation of one kit (020004156) on a Servend
Ice/Beverage Dispenser.
Tools Required
• Phillips Head Screwdriver
• Flat Blade Screwdriver
Installation of Kit
1 Remove power from the unit.
DISASSEMBLY
2 Remove the ice bin lid, thumb screws to the merchandiser using a flat
blade screwdriver, and remove merchandiser to gain access to the
electrical box.
3 Remove electrical box cover.
AGITATION TIMER
4 Locate the optional agitation timer wires in the electrical box tucked in above
the transformer, four (4) wires capped with grey covers (4 @ 250 QC)
(See Figure 1).
5 Remove the grey caps from each wire connector and plug into the
supplied timer terminals per the wiring schematic. (See Figure 2)
• Terminal 1 (COM) on timer = One (1) blue wire connector
• Terminal 2 (230VAC) on timer = Two (2) yellow wire connector
• Terminal 3 (NEUTRAL) on timer = Two (2) white wire connector
• Terminal 4 (NO) on timer = One (1) yellow wire connector
6 Locate the top most of the two (2) predrilled holes in the foam front to the left
of the existing transformer, attach the timer into the electrical box area on the
foam front using the screw provided in the kit and a phillips head screwdriver.
(See Figure 3)

TRANSFORMER
7 Remove the existing transformer (240/24) and replace with the 220/26
transformer supplied in the kit, line and load wires go to the same terminals.
(See Figure 4)
8 Temporarily apply supply power and verify transformer works properly by
testing the valves.
9 Verify the timer works properly by removing the red jumper with the power on,
and the agitator should cycle for 3 seconds every 10 seconds.
10 Remove supply power again.
MOTOR BRACKET HEATER
11 If installing the motor bracket heater kit do so now, refer to instructions
included with motor bracket heater kit.
REASSEMBLE UNIT
12 Replace the red jumper wire on timer, electrical box cover, and merchandiser.
13 Reconnect electrical power and verify ice/drink dispensing operates
properly.
