MULTIPLEX 2811 & 4450 Support Stand (EI445000) offers a range of configurations to meet diverse needs. MODEL 2811 & 4450 SUPPORT STANDS
The support stands have three (3) basic configuration:
the Bag-in-Box (refer to figure 1),
the Stationary Syrup Tank Tray (refer to figure 2) , and
the Roll-Out Syrup Tank Tray (refer to figure 3)
NOTE: Any configuration may be converted to the other two stands mentioned. The Bag-in-Box stands are available
as a Nine Bag-in-Box design (39 1h" [100 cm] high) or a Twelve Bag-in-Box designs (54" [137 cm] high).

DO Adhere to all National and Local Plumbing and Electrical Safety Codes.
DO Turn “Off” incoming electrical service switches when servicing, installing, or repairing equipment.
DO Check that all flare fittings on the carbonation tank(s) are tight. This check should be performed with a
wrench to ensure a quality seal.
DO Inspect pressure on Regulators before starting up equipment.
DO Protect eyes when working around refrigerants.
DO Use caution when handling metal surface edges of all equipment.
DO Handle C0
2 cylinders and gauges with care. Secure cylinders properly against abrasion.
DO Store C0
2 cylinder(s) in well ventilated areas.
DO NOT Throw or drop a C0
2 cylinder. Secure the cylinder(s) in an upright position with a chain.
DO NOT Connect the C0
2 cylinder(s) directly to the product container. Doing so will result in an explosion causing
possible death or injury. Best to connect the C0
2 cylinder(s) to a regulator(s).
DO NOT Store C0
2 cylinders in temperature above 125˚ F (51. 7˚ C) near furnaces, radiator or sources of heat.
DO NOT Release C0
2 gas from old cylinder.
DO NOT Touch Refrigeration lines inside units, some may exceed temperatures of 200
˚ F (93.3˚ C).
NOTE: Water pipe connections and fixtures directly connected to a potable water supply shall be sized, installed and
maintained in accordance with Federal, State, and Local codes.

electrical power sources before performing service or maintenance on
this machine -- except when electrical tests are being performed by
qualified service personnel.

INSTALLING THE ROLL-OUT SYRUP TANK OR THE NINE BAG-IN-BOX STANDS
1. Assemble the Syrup Pumps to the rear of the mounting plate (Nine Bag-in-Box Stand only).
2. Place stand in a desired location. Adjust feet to level and stabilize.
NOTE: If the Roll-out Syrup Tank Tray is used, adjust the stand height so rear tray stops do not drag on stand side rails.
INSTALLING THE SUPPORT STANDS
1. Place Stand Assembly approximately 8” (20.3 cm) from the wall where the
equipment will be located.
2. Attach the Wall Anchor Brackets to the rear corner posts of the Stand
Assembly using supplied screws and nuts. Level the Stand Assembly using
the adjustable floor levelers.
3. Note where the rear flanges of the Wall Anchor Brackets align with the wall
surface. if the brackets can be securely attached directly to the wall, do so
with appropriate fasteners. Masonry walls will require anchors in drilled holes.
Stud framed walls may need a horizontal 2” x 4”stringer secured to the wall
and anchored with lag screws into the wall studs. Secure the wall brackets to
the stringer with 1” screws (provided).
NOTE: You must properly secure the stand to the wall to ensure safety.
4. Remove all protective film from stainless surfaces.
5. While the stand has been designed and built to eliminate burrs and sharp
edges, verify that all edges are smooth. Use a file to remove any burrs that
may have escaped the factory inspection.
MOUNTING THE MULTIPLEX REFRIGERATION UNITS TO THE STAND
1. Position the refrigeration unit on the stand and align holes in the unit base with holes in stand top. The water bath drain
should be over the large rectangular hole in the stand top.
NOTE: The mounting hole patterns are located so all refrigeration units mount flush with the front surface of the stand. The Model
2803 will mount flush with the front and left side of the 2811 stand. Models 38 and 44 refrigeration units can be mounted to a 2811
stand flush with the front, but will overhang on either or both sides of the stand.
2. The stand 's installation package includes appropriate screws for securing the refrigeration unit to the stands. Only two (2)
screws are required to keep the unit from shifting position on the stand. Model 11, 38, 44, or 50 Refrigeration Unit onto a
Model 4450 Stand Use two (2) 5/ 8 “ x 1” screws in diagonally and opposite corners.
NOTE: The phrase "diagonally and opposite corners" means the front left and right rear or the front right and left rear corner of the stand.
Model 2803 Refrigeration Unit onto a Model 2811 Stand
Use two (2) 3 / 8” x 3/4" screws in diagonally opposite corners.
Model 11 Refrigeration Unit onto a Model 2811 Stand
Use two (2) 5/ 8” x 1” screws in diagonally opposite corners.
Model 38 or 44 Refrigeration Unit onto a Model 2811 Stand
Use two (2) #10 x 1/2" self-tapping screws in holes in the unit base aligned with small slots in the center of the left and right ends
of the stand top.
NOTE: Unit may overhang on the side of the stand in either direction or may be centered with equal overhang on both sides.
Attaching the C02 tank security chain to the stand
1. The C0
2 Tank Security Chain assembly may be attached to either end of the stand.
2. Assemble by inserting the shank of the center eyebolt through the center hole in the end of the stand top. Use a flat washer
and locking hex nut on both sides of the hole as shown in figure 5.
3. Assemble the end eyebolts through the outboard holes in the same manner.
