Anti-bacterial protection (depending on the model):
- Antibacterial filter in the fan (8)
- Antibacterial additives in the Crisper (13)
- Door seals are made of material able to inhibit bacterial
growth (6).
Notes:
- Depending on the model the number and type of
accessories may vary.
- In case it'll have a freezer flap, please remember that to
maximize the storage volume it's suggested to remove
flap by bending it.
- All shelves and door trays are removable.
- The internal temperatures of the appliance depend on
the ambient temperature, frequency of opening the
doors, as well as location of the appliance. Temperature
setting must consider these factors.
- The appliance accessories are not suitable for washing in
dishwasher.
HOW TO START THE APPLIANCE
After plugging the appliance to the mains, it starts the
operation automatically.
After starting the appliance, wait at least 4-6 hours before
placing food into the appliance.
Particular control elements are activated:
• The indicator LEDs on the control panels light up for 2
seconds.
• Activation of a beep for 1 second.
Note:
• If food is placed in the refrigerator before the appliance
has cooled completely, it may deteriorate.
CONTROL PANEL
(1) Cavity selection "Fridge / Freezer" pushbutton
(2) Green LED ON/OFF informing of:
- freezer cabinet temp. setting (green LED light ON)
- fridge cabinet temp. setting - (green LED light OFF)
(3) Temperature selection button "Temp.".
(4) (5) (6) Green LEDs indicating temperature settings.
(7) "Stop alarm" pushbutton.
TEMPERATURES ADJUSTMENT
Temperature adjustment between cabinets is made with
the "Fridge / Freezer" button (1).
When the LED (2) is OFF the user can select
temperature in the fridge.
When the LED (2) is ON the user can select temperature
in the freezer.
The temperature in the refrigerator and freezer
compartment may be set by the temperature setting
pushbutton (3) on the control panel.
On the left there are described the 5 set points for the
refrigerator and freezer compartment.At each short
pressure of the "Temp." button (3), the setpoint will
change (cyclically).
Legend: LED OFF LED ON
The medium temp. is the recommended temperature
settings.

FAN WITH A BUTTON (depending on the model)
The fan improves temperature distribution inside the
refrigerator compartment, allowing better preservation of
stored food.
By default, the fan is ACTIVE.
It is advisable to keep the fan active, so that the "6th
Sense Fresh Control" function can work properly and also
when the ambient air temperature is over 27 ÷ 28°C or if
you perceive drops of water on the glass shelves or in the
severe humidity conditions.
Note
Do not obstruct the air intake area with food items.
To optimize energy consumption and to guarantee the
right performance at lower ambient temperature (colder
than 18°C) please turn off the fan.
To turn off the fan press the button (8a).
If the appliance has the fan it can be equipped with the
antibacterial filter.
Remove it from the box (found in the crisper drawer
(item 13) and insert into the cover of fan (item 8b).
The replacement procedure is attached with the filter.
FUNCTIONS
Fast Freezing
For more efficient freezing activate this function 24 hours
before freezing fresh products.
- Select Freezer compartment by using button (1), LED
(2) shall turn ON.
- Press and hold the temperature setting button Temp.
until 3 green LEDs light up simultaneously (4) (5) (6).
After 24 hours place the food to be frozen in the upper
basket of the freezer compartment.
This function is automatically disabled after 48
hours. To deactivate it earlier follow the procedure:
- Press and hold by 3 sec. the temperature setting button
Temp. again while the LED (2) is ON - the
temperature selection lights will return to previous
displayed temperature setpoint.
After setting the "Fast Freezing" (automatically disabled
after 48 hours) the freezer temperature sets previous
displayed setpoints. When the product is disconnected
from the power supply and then reconnected, the control
unit remembers previously set temperatures for freezer
and refrigerator.
Stop alarm
If any alarm appears, the user could reset the acoustical
sound by pressing once Stop alarm pushbutton.
"Black-out alarm" (power supply failure) - in case of
power failure, the appliance automatically monitors the
temperature changes in the freezer compartment after
the power supply returns. The "Black-out alarm" will
activate, if the temperature has risen above the admissible
level. This is indicated by:
- Flashing of the green LED (2)
- Acoustical alarm.
To deactivate the alarm, press once Stop alarm
pushbutton, the flashing of the green LED (2) go off.
- The temperature will return to the normal operating
cycle level and the beep will stop.
When the "Black-out alarm" is actived, it is
recommended to proceed as follows:
- If the food in the freezer is not frozen but is still cold,
transfer it promptly to the refrigerator compartment
and consume within 24 hours.
- If the food in the freezer is frozen, it has re-frozen after
thawing caused by the power failure. The consumption
of re-frozen food is not recommended because it has
lost its nutritive value and may be hazardous to your
health.
Note
The "Black-out alarm" does not guarantee the food quality
and its safety in case of consumption. It only indicates the
necessity to assess the quality of food in the freezer and
refrigerator compartments.
Overtemperature alarm in freezer compartment.
Overtemperature alarm activation is indicated by:
- Flashing of the green lamps (4) (5) (6).
- Acoustical alarm.
The alarm is activated when:
• The appliance is connected to the power supply for the
first time or after prolonged disuse.
• The freezer compartment temperature is too high.
• The quantity of foods loaded into the freezer exceeds
that indicated on the data plate.
• The freezer door has been left open for a long time.
To deactivate Acoustical alarm, press Stop alarm
pushbutton . The flashing LEDs (4) (5) (6) go off when
the minimum required temperature is reached.
"6th Sense Fresh Control"
This function allows optimum storage conditions
(regarding temperature and humidity) to be quickly
reached inside the appliance.
It is advisable to keep the fan active, so that the "6th
Sense Fresh Control" function can work properly.
To minimize the Energy consumption is suggested to
disable the fan.
To manually deactivate the function, press for at least 3
sec. both buttons Cavity selection "Fridge / Freezer" and
"Temp.". A long sound signal will be provided for the
deactivation of the feature . In order to reactivate this
function follow the same procedure (keeping pressed the
2 buttons for 3 sec.). A short sound signal will be provided
for the activation of the feature.
OTHER ABNORMAL APPLIANCE OPERATIONS
DISPLAYED BY LEDs
In case of abnormal appliance operation, all the
temperature selection LEDs will flash and one beep will
sound. To check the code alarm user have to press and
hold the temperature setting Temp. & Stop alarm
pushbuttons and alarm code will be showing on the

temperature LEDs (possible alarm codes are explained in
the table below – call After-sales Service and describe the
alarm code).
When this operation is released, the LEDs will flash until
the fault is eliminated. If any alarm shown in the table
occurs, the fridge/freezer functions such as temperature
adjustment, Fast Freezing are not available until the fault is
eliminated.
When several alarms occur simultaneously, the alarm with
the highest priority is displayed (Number 1 being the
highest priority).

CLEANING
Regularly clean the appliance using a cloth and a solution
of warm water, with some soft detergent suitable for
cleaning the inside of the refrigerator compartment.
Do not use abrasive detergents or tools.
To ensure continuous and correct flow of defrost water,
regularly clean the
inside of the draining
hole on the back of
the refrigerator near
the fruit and vegetable
drawer, using the tool
provided.
Before carrying out any cleaning or maintenance
operation, unplug the appliance or disconnect it from the
power supply.
DEFROSTING THE REFRIGERATOR
COMPARTMENT
Refrigerator compartment defrosting is completely
automatic.
Droplets of water on the rear wall inside the refrigerator
compartment indicate that the automatic defrost phase is
in progress. The defrost water is automatically run into a
drain hole and collected in a container, where it
evaporates.
DEFROSTING THE FREEZER COMPARTMENT
No Frost freezers provide chilled air circulation around
the storage areas and prevent the formation of ice,
thereby completely eliminating the need for defrosting.
Frozen items don't stick to the walls, labeling stays legible
and storage space remains neat and clear.
HOW CAN INCREASE THE FREEZER
COMPARTMENT CAPACITY
In certain models you can increase the freezer
compartment capacity by:
- Removing the flap (if present).
- Removing the turntable only.
Please refer to the figures beside to see how to proceed.
How to make ice cubes
Depending on the model:
With a turntable and ice-cube trays
• Remove the turntable, fill the trays with water to
approx. 3/4 and place back in the appliance.
• The ice-cubes will be automatically ejected into the
container after turning the ice-cube tray knobs
With an ice-cube tray
• Fill the ice-cube tray with water to approx. 3/4 and
insert it into the freezer compartment.
• Do not use any sharp or cutting items to remove the
tray.
