is manual contains important safety and operating instructions for your
inverter. Please read this section carefully to ensure the most efficient and safest
performance levels.
WArnings: To reduce the risk of injury, please pay attention to the following:
Do not open the device or make any attempt to disassemble or modify it. e
voltage inside the unit is the same as your electrical outlets at home. It could
result in a risk of fire, injury to persons, or damage to personal property.
Do not open the case of the inverter. Do not let the cord of the inverter or any
appliances’ cord restrict your driving if operating from a moving vehicle. We
recommend that you secure the inverter to prevent it from shifting around while
the vehicle is in operation.
Be careful not to touch the tip of the cigarette lighter plug directly after usage.
e plug may be hot.
Do not operate this inverter in or around water. Water can damage the inverter,
and water damage is not covered under warranty. Also, do not operate the inverter
using wet hands. e AC voltage of the unit makes it an electrical shock hazard if
operated with wet hands.
Do not connect the inverter directly to another AC power source. Damage may
result, and such damage will void the inverters warranty.
Know the wattage requirements of your device. Inverter output for both plugs is
120 watts combined.
is device produces power just like your wall outlets at home and should be
treated accordingly.
Keep away from children.
We recommend you unplug the inverter when it is not in use.
Thank you for purchasing the CODi 120 Watt Auto Inverter.
Although this product incorporates a multiple-protection circuit, please adhere to
the following:
Avoid placing this product in direct sunlight or operating in an environment •
Exceeding 40˚ C (104˚F) so as to prevent invoking the products internal
circuit protection system.
Avoid operating in temperatures below 0• ˚C (32˚F)
Do not operate the adapter with damaged input/output cords, or plugs.•

operAting instructions
In-Car/Boat/RV
1. Turn-on your vehicles ignition.
2. Remove the vehicles cigarette lighter and insert the DC to AC Power
Inverters Cigarette Plug into the socket.
note: Power to the cigarette lighter in some vehicles is always on and may not
require the ignition to be turned on.
ere is a power on/off switch device on this inverter which near the led
light. Switch to the sign of “1” location. e green light of LED on this
inverter will illuminate.
If the LED on the inverter does not illuminate, first check to see if the plug
is properly inserted. Note: the vehicle may also need to be running in order
to get power. If you continue to not see the indicator light working, you may
need to check the vehicles cigarette lighter fuse and/or the Cigarette Plug
cigarette adapter fuse. Refer to your vehicle manual for further direction on
how to properly check a car fuse.
If the LED is red, it means that this inverter is not operating correctly. Re-
move the cigarette plug, and check power source specifications.
note: e fuse from the Cigarette Plug adapter can be easily removed by un-
screwing the silver round disc located at the tip of the adapter and removing the
fuse. Replace the fuse with one having the same specifications at any hardware, or
automotive store. (Fuse Rating F15A, 250V)
If you still have difficulty obtaining power after performing the above opera-
tions, please contact Customer Service at 1-800-263-4462.
Caution: Before plugging in your device, make sure it requires 120 watts or
less, and uses 110V input voltage.
3. Insert the AC plug of your electronic product into the AC socket at the
front of the inverter.
4. Turn-on your electronic product. You now have a 120W power source for
our electronic product.
If the green LED light turns to the red during use, a safety feature of your
inverter has started and your inverter is being used under an improper condi-
tion. Please check the input and output power source immediately, and
make sure all comply with inverters specifications.
note: ere is a power on/off switch device on this inverter which near the led
light. Always switch to the sign of “0” location when it is not in use. And unplug
and store this inverter properly.
cAution: It is not recommended to have Power Inverter
plugged in when starting the engine. e power may be interrupted and this
could cause your system to reset.
cAution: e DC to AC Power Inverter may become warm during use. is
is normal. Avoid placing the adapter in direct sunlight or next to heat-sensitive
materials.
trouBlesHooting
If the inverter does not appear to be functioning properly, there are several reasons
why the inverter may not be responding.
1. Poor contact
Clean contact parts thoroughly.
2. Receptacle has no power
Check car fuse, replace damage fuse.
Check Receptacle wiring. Repair if necessary.
3. Fuse is blown
e fuse is located inside the cigarette plug.
Replace fuse with a fuse of an equivalent value.
4. Battery voltage is too low
Start the engine to recharge the battery. Replace battery if needed.
5. Shut down on overload
Reduce the wattage of your load to less than 120 watts.
6. ermal shutdown
Under heavy loads for extended periods of time, the inverter will shutdown
to prevent damage from excess heat. Simply reduce your load and allow the
inverter to cool down.
7. Low-battery shutdown
Recharge your battery and resume operation.
If you appear to have a problem which is not listed above, please call Customer
Service at 1-800-263-4462.
Note:
All specifications are typical at nominal line, half load, and 25˚C unless otherwise
noted. Specifications are subject to change without notice.
