MAINTENANCE
1. Atthebeginningofeachseason,lubricate,withalight
machineoil,thelatch,thelatchpivotbolt,andthearea
oftheaxlewherethedrawbartonguepivots.
2. Grease or oil the wheel bearings periodically. Use
automotivewheel bearing type grease or 20 weight
oil.
3. Keeptireslledtotherecommendedtirepressureof
12-14 psi.
1. Refertothevehicleownersmanualforinstructionson
safe operation on slopes.
2. Usetheslopeguideprovidedonpage7ofthismanual
to determine if slope angle is too steep for safe
operation.
3. Forbesthandlingandtraction,distributetheweightof
theloadevenlyinthecart.
4. Alwaystest tomakesure yourtractorhas adequate
towing and braking capabilities whenever hauling a
substantialamount of weight in yourcart.Use extra
cautionwhenoperatingonslopes.
Do Not Exceed 500 Lb. Weight Capacity Of Cart
One cubic foot of dirt weighs approximately 80 lbs.
5. Todumpmaterialfromthecart,removethetailgate(1)
byliftingitstraightupandoutfrombetweentheguides.
Releasethespringlatchonthetonguebypullingthe
latchlocklever(13)forward,awayfromthecart.The
cartbedwillthentiltbackwardstoemptyitscontents.
Afteremptying,pullthefrontofthebeddowntowardthe
carttongueuntilthelatchlockleversnapsintoplace.
Replacethetailgateifdesired.
6. Themaximumtowingspeedforthiscartis10m.p.h.

5. Donotallowadultstooperatethetractororcartattachmentwithoutproperinstructions.
6. Alwaysbeginwiththetransmissioninrst(low)andgraduallyincreasespeedasconditionspermit.
7. Towthecartatreducedspeedoverroughterrainandhillsidesornearcreeksandditchestopreventtippingoverand
lossofcontrol.Donotdrivetooclosetoacreekorditch.
8. Vehiclebrakingandstabilitymaybeaffectedwiththeattachmentofthiscart.Donotllcarttomaximumweightcapacity
withoutcheckingthecapabilityofthetowingvehicletosafelypullandstopwiththecartattached.
9. Beforeoperatingvehicleonanygrade(hill)refertothesafetyrulesinthevehicleowner'smanualconcerningsafe
operationonslopes.Referalsototheslopeguideonpage7ofthismanual.Stay off steep slopes!
10. Donottowthiscartonhighwaysoronpublicthoroughfares.
