Installation and Operation Manual

IMPORTANT!

Before starting work the installer should carefully read this Installation

& Operation Manual, and make sure all instructions contained therein

are understood and observed.

- The Main zone digital programmer should be mounted, operated

and maintained by specially trained personnel only. Personnel in the

course of training are only allowed to handle the product under the

supervision of an experienced fitter. Subject to observation of the

above terms, the manufacture shall assume the liability for the

equipment as provided by legal stipulations.

- All instructions in this Installation & Operation manual should be

observed when working with the controller. Any other application shall

not comply with the regulations. The manufacturer shall not be liable

in case of incompetent use of the control. Any modifications and

amendments are not allowed for safety reasons. The maintenance

may be performed by service shops approved by the manufacturer

only.

- The functionality of the controller depends on the model and

equipment. This installation leaflet is part of the product and has to be

obtained.

APPLICATION

- The Main zone digital programmer is developed to control and

manage all installations of water floor heating and cooling equipped

with our UFH range thermostat. The temperature in each room is

managed the control of actuators mounting on the manifold.

- The controller is normally used in conjunction with a complete

connecting box “UFH-MASTER” with or without “Heating & Cooling

module” to connect all electrical & hydraulic components of the

installation like a circulation pump, actuators...

- The controllers have been designed for use in residential rooms,

office spaces and industrial facilities.

Verify that the installation complies with existing regulations before

operation to ensure proper use of the installation.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Before starting work disconnect power supply!

- All installation and wiring work related to the controller must be

carried out only when de-energized. The appliance should be

connected and commissioned by qualified personnel only. Make sure

to adhere to valid safety regulations.

- The connecting boxes are neither splash- nor drip-proof. Therefore,

they must be mounted at a dry place.

- Do not interchange the connections of the thermostats and the 230V

connections under any circumstances! Interchanging these

connections may result in life endangering electrical hazards or the

destruction of the appliance and the connected sensors and other

appliances.

4 How to use your thermostat

Use the (OK) key to change the mode in the Operating mode menu

OFF mode:

(Manual mode)

Use this mode if you want to stop the Heating or Cooling function in

the room.

The ambient temperature will be displayed all the time.

Press once on the (OK) to turn on the backlight only and a second

time to change the operating mode.

Simple installation without main zone programmer:

The antifreeze temperature (7°C) will be maintained in the room all

the time.

Installation with main zone programmer: (with or without Heating

and Cooling function)

In heating mode: (Winter)

The antifreeze temperature (7°C) will be maintained in the room all

the time.

In cooling mode: (Summer)

The thermostat will be switched Off.

COMFORT operating mode:

(Manual mode)

By pressing the keys (-) or (+), the actual comfort setting temperature

is now displayed, then press the desired key 1 sec to start the

increment or decrement of the setting temperature.

The ambient room temperature reappears after a few seconds.

Press once on the (OK) to turn on the backlight only and a second

time to change operating the mode.

The comfort temperature will be followed all the time in accordance

with these descriptions:

Simple installation without main zone programmer:

The comfort temperature will be followed all the time. (Default setting

20°C)

Installation with main zone programmer: (with or without Heating

and Cooling function)

Your thermostat is equipped with 2 comfort settings temperature (1

for heating and 1 for cooling)

In heating mode: (Winter)

The comfort temperature will be followed all the time. (Default setting

20°C)

You can adjust this setting only when the system will work in heating

mode.

In cooling mode: (Summer)

The comfort temperature will be followed all the time. (Default setting

22°C)

You can adjust this setting only when the system will work in cooling

mode.

REDUCED operating mode:

(Manual mode)

By pressing the keys (-) or (+), the actual reduced setting temperature

is now displayed, then press the desired key 1 sec to start the

increment or decrement of the setting temperature.

The ambient room temperature reappears after a few seconds.

Press once on the (OK) to turn on the backlight only and a second

time to change operating the mode.

The reduced temperature will be followed all the time in accordance

with these descriptions:

Simple installation without main zone programmer:

The reduced temperature will be followed all the time. (Default setting

18°C)

Installation with main zone programmer: (with or without Heating

and Cooling function)

Your thermostat is equipped with 2 reduced settings temperature (1

for heating and 1 for cooling)

In heating mode: (Winter)

The reduced temperature will be followed all the time. (Default setting

18°C)

You can adjust this setting only when the system will work in heating

mode.

In cooling mode: (Summer)

The reduced temperature will be followed all the time. (Default setting

24°C)

You can adjust this setting only when the system will work in cooling

mode.

Automatic operating mode:

Simple installation without main zone programmer:

The comfort temperature will be maintained in the room all the time.

Installation with main zone programmer: (with or without Heating

and Cooling function)

In this mode your thermostat will follow the program (Comfort or

reduced) and order (Heating, cooling, Anti freeze, holiday…) of the

main zone programmer.

The ambient temperature will be displayed all the time.

Press once on the (OK) to turn on the backlight only and a second

time to change the operating mode.

Override mode:

Use this mode to override the automatic mode during 2 hours.

You can choose another setting temperature for this duration.

By pressing the keys (-) or (+), the override setting temperature is

now displayed, then press the desired key 1 sec to start the

increment or decrement of the setting temperature.

When the duration is finished the thermostat will come back in

Automatic mode .

The ambient temperature will be displayed all the time.

Press once on the (OK) to turn on the backlight only and a second

time to change operating the mode.

Lock and unlock keypads:

Use this function to avoid change on your thermostat. (Available in all

modes)

- To lock the keypad, maintains the keys (-) & (+) pressed and press

the (OK) key in the same time, then the symbol “ “appears.

- To unlock the key pads repeat this procedure, (the symbol “ “

will disappear)

Sensor messages:

Main errors: (the regulation will be stopped)

Error on the internal sensor => Err in position “6” in the display with

the logo blinks.

Error on the External (Floor) sensor => Err in position “6” in the

display with the logo blinks.

Indications:

Error on the limiter (floor) sensor => Err in position “4” in the

display with the logo blinks.

Lower limitation (floor sensor) => Lo in position “4” in the

display with the logo blinks.

Higher limitation (floor sensor) => Hi in position “4” in the

display with the logo blinks.

Special display:

If your installation works with a main zone programmer, the residual

humidity is monitored, to avoid risk of residual humidity in the house.

If the residual humidity is detected in cooling mode the thermostat will

be advised to active the dry function.

During the dry function the thermostat will stop the water circulation

on the room.

The cooling logo will be blink to show the function.

5 Installation parameters menu

Your thermostat has 1 advanced installer menus.

- In order to enter in this menu, use the (OK) key and go to the

automatic mode , then press the (-) & (+) in the same time during

5 sec.

- The first parameter is displayed 01 “Deg”.

How to change the value of a parameter:

- Once the parameter is displayed, press the (OK) key to start to

blink the value, then you can adjust it with (-) or (+) keys. Press (OK)

or wait few seconds to valid your adjustments.

To exit the parameter menu, go to the parameter number 09 “End”

and press (OK).

Manuel d’utilisation et d’installation

IMPORTANT!

- Avant de commencer les travaux, le monteur doit lire, comprendre

et observer les présentes instructions de montage et de service.

- Seul un spécialiste en la matière est autorisé à effectuer le

montage, le réglage et la maintenance d’une régulation plancher type

UFH avec programmateur de zones. Un monteur en formation ne

peut réaliser de travaux sur l'appareil que sous la surveillance d'un

expert. La responsabilité du fabricant conformément aux dispositions

légales s'applique uniquement dans le cas du respect des conditions

précitées.

- Veuillez observer l'ensemble des instructions de montage et de

service lors de l'utilisation du programmateur de zones. Toute

utilisation autre n'est pas conforme. Le fabricant ne répond pas des

dommages occasionnés par une utilisation abusive de la régulation.

Pour des raisons de sécurité, aucune transformation ou modification

n'est admise. Seuls les ateliers de réparation désignés par le

fabricant sont habilités à réparer la station solaire.

- Le contenu de la livraison de l'appareil varie selon le modèle et

l'équipement. Sous réserve de modifications techniques !

Il est recommandé que l’installateur et l’utilisateur prennent

connaissance de l’intégralité de la notice, avant de procéder à

l’installation du matériel.

APPLICATION

- Le programmateur de zone a été développé spécialement pour le

contrôle et la gestion de toute installation de plancher chauffant ou

rafraichissant hydraulique équipée de thermostats et boite de

connexion type UFH. La température de chaque pièce est gérée par

le controle d’électrovannes montées sur les collecteurs de plancher

(nourrisses).

- Le programmateur de zones est normalement utilisé en conjonction

avec un «MASTER-UFH» avec ou sans module «CHAUD / FROID»,

ils permettront la connexion de tous les composants électriques &

hydrauliques de votre installation. (Circulateur, électrovannes,

thermostats)

Le module de régulation a été étudié pour un fonctionnement dans un

environnement résidentiel, bureaux ou en équipement industriel.

Il est recommandé d’installer ce module selon les règles de l’art le

tout en respectant les législations en vigueur.

INSTRUCTION DE SECURITE

Veillez toujours à déconnecter l’alimentation avant le montage

ou la manipulation!

Toute installation ou raccordement électrique sur le module doit être

réalisé dans des conditions de sécurité. Le module devra être

raccordé et manipulé par du personnel qualifié. Veuillez respecter les

législations de sécurité en vigueur, en particulier NF C15-100

(Normes d’installation ≤ 1000 VAC).

Les boîtes de connexion ne sont pas étanches aux éclaboussures ou

aux projections d’eau. Elles doivent donc être montées dans un

endroit sec.

Prêter une attention particulière lors du câblage, n’interchangez

jamais les connexions des thermostats avec les connexions de

puissances (230VAC), ceci pourrait provoquer des dommages

électriques voire la destruction des sondes ou la régulation.

4 Comment utiliser le thermostat

Utilisez la touche (OK) pour changer de mode fonctionnement en

faisant glisser le cadre de sélection sur le mode désiré.

Mode Arrêt: (Mode manuel)

Utilisez ce mode si vous désirez mettre votre installation en Arrêt.

La température ambiante sera affichée en permanence. Une légère

impulsion sur la touche (OK) allume le retro-éclairage, appuyez une

seconde fois pour changer le mode de fonctionnement.

Installation simple sans centrale de programmation:

La température de hors gel (7°C) sera maintenue indéfiniment.

Installation avec centrale de programmation: (avec ou sans

fonction Chaud / Froid)

En mode Chauffage : (Hiver)

La température de hors gel (7°C) sera maintenue indéfiniment.

En mode rafraichissement : (Eté)

Le thermostat sera mis en arrêt.

Mode Confort:

(Mode manuel)

En appuyant sur les touches (-) ou (+), la température de consigne

actuelle clignote, maintenez la touché désirée 1 seconde pour

commencer l’incrémentation ou décrémentation de la consigne.

La température ambiante sera affichée en permanence. Une légère

impulsion sur la touche (OK) allume le retro-éclairage, appuyez une

seconde fois pour changer le mode de fonctionnement.

La température de confort sera suivie de la manière suivante:

Installation simple sans centrale de programmation:

usine 20°C)

Mode Réduit (ECO):

(Mode manuel)

En appuyant sur les touches (-) ou (+), la température de consigne

actuelle clignote, maintenez la touché désirée 1 seconde pour

commencer l’incrémentation ou décrémentation de la consigne.

La température ambiante sera affichée en permanence. Une légère

impulsion sur la touche (OK) allume le retro-éclairage, appuyez une

seconde fois pour changer le mode de fonctionnement.

La température réduite (ECO) sera suivie de la manière suivante:

Installation simple sans centrale de programmation:

La température de confort sera maintenue indéfiniment (réglage

usine 18°C)

Installation avec centrale de programmation: (avec ou sans

fonction Chaud / Froid)

Votre thermostat possède 2 consignes réduite (ECO), la première

sera utilisée pour le mode chauffage et la seconde pour le mode

rafraichissement.

installation sera en mode chauffage.

Mode Automatique:

Installation simple sans centrale de programmation:

Ce mode de fonctionnement nécessite l’utilisation d’une centrale de

programmation, dans le cas contraire la température de confort sera

suivie indéfiniment.

Installation avec centrale de programmation:

Le thermostat suivra les ordres envoyés par la centrale de

programmation.

Les programmes (Jour/Nuit) ainsi que les modes de fonctionnement

(Chaud, Froid, Hors Gel, vacances...).

La température ambiante sera affichée en permanence. Une légère

impulsion sur la touche (OK) allume le retro-éclairage, appuyez une

seconde fois pour changer le mode de fonctionnement.

Dérogation temporaire:

Utilisez ce mode pour déroger du mode automatique pour une durée

de 2 heures.

Vous pourrez choisir une température pour cette durée.

En appuyant sur les touches (-) ou (+), la température de consigne

actuelle clignote, maintenez la touché désirée 1 seconde pour

commencer l’incrémentation ou décrémentation de la consigne.

Le thermostat reviendra sur le mode automatique à la fin de la

période.

La température ambiante sera affichée en permanence. Une légère

impulsion sur la touche (OK) allume le retro-éclairage, appuyez une

seconde fois pour changer le mode de fonctionnement.

Verrouillage et déverrouillage clavier:

Utilisez cette fonction afin d’éviter tout changement des réglages du

thermostat (protection enfant…)

- Pour verrouiller le clavier, appuyez tout d’abord sur les touches (-)

& (+), maintenez les enfoncées tout en appuyant sur (OK). Le

symbole “ “ devrait apparaitre.

- Répétez la même procédure pour déverrouiller le clavier. Le

symbole “ “ devrait disparaitre.

Messages sondes:

Erreur principales: (la régulation sera stoppée)

Erreur sur la sonde interne => Err sur la position “6”

de l’afficheur avec le symbole clignotant.

Erreur sur la sonde externe (Sol) => Err sur la

position “6” de l’afficheur avec le symbole clignotant.

Indications:

Erreur sur la sonde limiteur => Er sur la position “4” de l’afficheur

avec le symbole clignotant.

Fonction limitation basse activée => Lo sur la position “4” de

l’afficheur avec le symbole clignotant.

Fonction limitation haute activée => Hi sur la position “4” de

l’afficheur avec le symbole 5 clignotant.

Affichage spécial:

Si votre installation est équipée d’une centrale de programmation,

l’humidité résiduelle à l’intérieur de votre maison sera surveillée en

mode rafraichissement. Si un risque de condensation est détecté

votre thermostat sera automatiquement basculé sur un mode spécial,

appelé séchage.

La circulation d’eau dans la pièce sera stoppée afin d’éviter la

condensation.

Le symbole de rafraichissement clignotera pour indiquer la mise

en route de cette fonction.

5 Menu paramètres d’installation

Votre thermostat possède 1 menu d’installation avec différents

paramètres.

- Pour accéder au menu d’installation, déplacez le cadre de

sélection sur le mode automatique , maintenez alors les touches

(-) & (+) enfoncées pendant 5 sec.

- Le 1

er

paramètre devrait s’afficher 01 “Deg”.

Comment changer la valeur d’un paramètre:

- Une fois le paramètre à modifier affiché, appuyez sur la touché

(OK) pour faire clignoter la valeur, vous pourrez alors la modifier avec

les touches (-) or (+). Appuyez à nouveau sur (OK) pour valider votre

réglage (vous pouvez aussi attendre quelques secondes la validation

se fera automatiquement)

Comment sortir du menu installation:

Déplacez vous sur le paramètre numéro 09 “End” et appuyez sur

(OK).
