2. Feed roller is worn out. (Remedy 1)
3. Feed roller is deteriorated. (Remedy 1)
4. Feed tray does not operate correctly because
spring is loosen. (Remedy 2)
5. Sheet is caught between feed guides too
tight. (Remedy 3)
6. Feed tray pressure is weak. (Remedy 2)

Replace feed roller.
(Remedy 2)
Check the feed tray movement or replace
spring in the feed section.
(Remedy 3)
Adjust feed guides.

B. Folded sheets have wrinkles.
(Cause)
1. Sheets are too thin. (Out of specification)
2. Sheets are curled.
3. Fold rollers are not positioned properly. (Remedy 1)
4. Fold rollers are smeared with ink. (Remedy 2)
5. Fold rollers are deformed because they are worn out. (Remedy 3)
6. Bush plates do not work smoothly. (Remedy 4)

Adjust fold rollers in proper position.
(Remedy 2)
Clean fold rollers with alcohol-soaked cloth.
(Remedy 3)
Replace fold rollers.
(Remedy 4)
Check that bush plates are not deformed and
that they operate smoothly. After that lubri-
cate fulcrum of bush plate.
(Remedy 1)
Clean double feed stop pad or replace it
with a new one.
(Remedy 2)
Fan sheets well.
(Remedy 3)
Fan sheets well a few minutes later.
C. Misfeed occurs though feed roller rotates.
