Auralex PlatSheet™ is designed to support an isolation platform or riser up to 8’ x 8’. It is recommended to use ¾” MDF or plywood as the decking material. The PlatSheet panels can be trimmed or cut to size using a sharp utility knife and a straight edge. Tubetak™ Pro adhesive should be applied to the PlatSheet panels before aligning them with the edges of the decking material. Once the two substrates are joined together, you can finish your PlatSheet isolation platform with an Auralex® HoverMat™ or other covering of your choice.

Installation Instructions:

1. Chose a decking material (¾” MDF or plywood recommended).

2. Cut decking material to desired size if smaller than 4’ x 8’.

3. Trim or cut PlatSheet panels to size using a sharp utility knife and a

straight edge.

4. Apply Tubetak™ Pro adhesive to the PlatSheet panels as described in

the Tubetak Pro section of this manual.

5. Align the edges of the PlatSheet with the sides of the decking material

and join the two substrates together following the recommendations

outlined in the Tubetak Pro section of this manual.

6. Finish your PlatSheet isolation platform with an Auralex® HoverMat™

(recommended) or other covering of your choice.
