Fortress Technologies FTF2013 is a tower fan with a range of features to keep you cool and comfortable. With its powerful motor, the FTF2013 can circulate air throughout even large rooms. SAFETY INSTRUCTION

1. To reduce electric shock, risk of fire or injury, please read the user manual carefully before using the

appliance and keep it for future reference.

2. This appliance is for household use only. Please use suitable power source (220-240V~/50Hz).

3. Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.

4. Do not use the appliance under direct sunshine.

5. Please turn off the appliance when not in use otherwise it may result in danger.

6. Please turn off the appliance and unplug the socket when unattended otherwise it may result in danger.

7. The appliance is not intended for used by children or persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental

capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction.

8. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance and keep away from it.

9. With any indication of malfunction (including power cord), please stop using the appliance immediately to

avoid hazard. Take it to the authorized service center for repair. Do not attempt to repair or change any parts

by yourself.

10. Please turn off and unplug the appliance before cleaning or maintenance.

11. Clean the surface of the appliance with damp cloth (or add some detergent). Do not use corrosive detergent

or solvent to clean. Not allowed to swash with water. Make sure the appliance is dried before use it again.

12. Please turn off and unplug the appliance when not in use, make sure power is off before pulling out the plug

and do not pull the cord.

13. When the appliance is not in use for a prolonged period, please turn it off, unplug it and pack it well. Then

store it in dry cool place.

14. Forbid to put flammable and explosive objects around the appliance, and do not use the appliance in an

environment full of flammable gas and powder. Keep away from any fire and heat sources.

15. Please put the power cord in the right place in order to avoid tripping the appliance over.

16. Please keep the air inlet and outlet unblocked to minimize the risk of fire and malfunction.

17. Ensure no water or raindrop into the appliance in order to avoid electric shock. Do not put flammable

objects or wet cloths on the air outlet in order to avoid short circuit or fire.

18. Please do not place air inlet or outlet near to curtain or wall when operation because it will block air current

and cause a risk of fire. The appliance should be installed at minimum distant of 10 cm from the wall or

other obstacle.

19. Please do not insert any objects into air inlet or outlet in order to avoid electric shock.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION

1. Assemble the front base and rear base tightly.

2. Insert the main unit into the base and lock firmly by the base screws.

OPERATION INSTRUCTION

 Power Button: To turn on and off the fan

 Natural/Sleeping Wind Button: To turn on and off the natural/sleeping wind function.

 Speed Button: To select the speed with Low, Medium and High.

 Swing/Key Lock Button: To turn on and off the oscillation function; press the button for 3 seconds to turn

on and off the key lock function.

 Timer Button: To select timer with 2/4/8 hours auto off function.

REMOTE CONTROL

1. Extract the remote control

Step 1: Push the button A, the control panel slides up automatically, then take out the remote control.

Step 2: Push down the control panel until it locks. (Figure 2)

2. Battery replacement as below:

Note: for initial usage of the fan, remove clear plastic sticker.

MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTION

1. Please turn off and unplug the appliance before cleaning or maintenance.

2. Clean the surface of the appliance with damp cloth (or add some detergent). Do not use corrosive detergent

or solvent to clean. Not allowed to swash with water. Make sure the appliance is dried before use it again.

3. When the appliance is not in use for prolonged period, please turn it off, unplug it and pack it well. Then

WARRANTY

1. The product has 2 years warranty from the date of purchase.

2. The warranty shall not apply:

A. to any Product subjected to accident, misuse, neglect, alteration, Acts of- God, improper handling, improper

transport, improper use, improper testing or unauthorized repair;

B. to cosmetic problems or defects which result from normal wear and tear under ordinary use, and do not affect the

performance or use of the product. All warranties are void if the product is opened, altered, and/or damaged;

C. to any packing, transportation, export / import tax or any related expenses.

3. CUSTOMER MUST PRESENT THE SALES INVOICE OR RECEIPT FOR 2 YEARS WARRANTY

5. To prevent circuit overload and fire, no more than one adaptor or one extension unit should be inserted into a socket

outlet. (Do not connect other appliances to the socket outlet supplying an electric heater.) No adaptor should be inserted

into any extension unit or vice versa.

6. Stop using an adaptor or extension unit or socket if its socket holes cannot firmly hold a plug or if it is too hard to insert

a plug into it.

7. Please make sure the plug is fully plugged-in before use. Do not use any adapter or extension cord; Never use the same

supply socket for this appliance and other appliances at the same time, in order to avoid damage to this appliance.
