HOW TO USE YOUR SPIKER/SPREADER
1. Refertotheinstructionlabelonthematerialpackage

rangeofsettingsforcommonlyusedmaterials.
2. Loosentheknobandadjusttheowcontrolgaugetothe
recommendedsetting.Retightentheknob.Seegure

4. Movethespiker/spreadertotheareawhereapplication
istobegin.
5. Makingsuretheowcontrolarmisinthe"OFF"position,

6. Lowertheaeratorspikestotheoperatingposition.
7. Start the spreader in motion and then pull the ow
controlarmforwardtothe"ON"positionasyoutravel
acrossyourlawn.Therecommendedtowingspeedis3
m.p.h.
8. Donotmakesharpturnswithspikesintheground.
9. Raiseaeratorspikestotransportpositionwhencrossing
overconcreteorotherhardsurfaces.
10.Donotaerateifthegroundisextremelyhardordry.If
groundistoodry,sprinkleorwaterforonetotwohours
priortouse.
11.Donotaerateifthegroundistoowet(muddy).
IMPORTANT: Always move ow control arm to "OFF"
position to prevent excessive release of fertilizer when
stopping,turningorllingthespreader.
