Attention: Intelbras wireless systems are tested to the highest standards and bring high reliability, however, due to the use/installa-
tion in varied scenarios, some considerations must be taken into account
:
» The transmitters/receivers may be disturbed by radio signals, natural interferences, the device’s operating location, wea-
ther conditions and other adversities that affect data transmission regardless of the frequency or technology used, since
the transmission medium is adverse and different from place to place.
» The devices’ receivers/transmitters have an internal processing time, and only receive the data needed for communication
between them after this particular time for the system.
» Wireless devices should be tested regularly to determine if there are sources of interference and to protect against
possible failures.

The PGM can be installed on various surfaces, always placing it in a vertical position using double-sided tape or screws
(not included) to x the base and then attach the device. The communication status of the PGM with the alarm center will
be represented in it through the LED indicator located on the front, and when in normal communication the LED will ash
green, with partial communication in orange and without communication in red. In case of power failure, the PGM will
run on battery power which will report the AC Failure events and maintain the PGM supervision test with the alarm center.
Note:
in case of PGM power loss the output will return with the contact in the same state as it was before the loss.
4. Installation of the center and its peripherals
Attention: only connect the center to the mains and battery after the installation of all equipment and peripherals
.
Open the product’s box and then open the cover of the alarm center´s cabinet removing the screws, where you will be able
to see two boards, that is, its basic conguration contains the board of the AMT 8000 LITE alarm center and its respective
power supply and the rechargeable battery that comes with the center.
The modules XG 2G and XG 3G can be acquired, and these boards have their respective interconnection cables with
the center.
The AMT 8000 LITE alarm center only has wireless zones, as the other accessories (keypad, sirens, etc.) are connected to
the alarm center via wireless signal, with only the AC power and Ethernet network cables connected to the alarm center.

Attention: The AMT 8000 LITE alarm center does not have an auxiliary output to power other devices and you should not use
any connection point on the boards of the center and its accessories for this function, because besides damaging the center, you
can damage the devices because the center operates with different voltages depending on the circuit
.
4.1. Power supply for the alarm center (full range 90 and 265 Vac)
The alarm center is equipped with a full-range switched power supply that works with an input voltage of 90 and 265 VAC
without needing a voltage selector switch. This way, even if some voltage variation occurs in the electrical grid, the alarm
center will continue working normally (as long as the voltage is in the 90 to 265 Vac range).
On this board there are two fuses that protect the center. If you need to change them, use new ones of the same
value (250 V/400 mA).
For connecting the AC mains input and also for grounding, it is recommended to use a three-pin cable with a gauge of 1 mm or higher.
The output to the alarm center board is 5.7 Vdc and 1.7 A.

Connect the ground terminal of the power supply as shown above to the local electrical ground.
If the local electrical installation does not have a grounding system, install a grounding bar and connect the connection
terminal to the center in order to perform the correct grounding.
Attention: it is mandatory to connect the grounding to the center so that there is better protection against lightning
and overloads by the power grid. If this connection is not made, the center will work normally but will be unprotected
against overloads
.
The warranty does not cover possible lightning damage to the center or to any other equipment connected to it.
4.2. Battery
The AMT 8000 LITE alarm center has an internal 3.7 Vdc rechargeable battery with a capacity of 2,000 mA. The battery
connector is located on the power supply board and is used to connect the battery to the alarm system. To connect the
battery to this connector use the cable that comes connected with it, as shown in the following gure.
AC AC
Rechargeable battery for AMT 8000 LITE alarm center
The alarm center has protection against reverse polarity and short circuits in the battery and protection to prevent the
battery from being damaged in case of a mains failure (if the battery voltage is below 2.8 V the alarm center will turn off
to avoid damaging the battery).
Attention: the battery can take up to 12 hours to complete its rst charge cycle.
Duração da bateria:
» Approximately 4 hours reporting of events via GPRS/Ethernet + integrated siren constantly triggering;
» Approximately 13 hours reporting events via GPRS (hourly periodic test only and with integrated siren in standby);
» Approximately 17 hours reporting events via ETH (only periodic hourly test and with integrated siren in stand by).
Attention: if battery replacement is required, look for our network of authorized technical assistance.
4.3. XG 2G/XG 3G Module
Its installation must only be done with the center turned off, to avoid damage to the equipment and to the installer.
In the XG 2G/XG 3G modules there are two slots to be allocated two chips (SIM card) being superimposed one over the
other, with chip 1 being above chip 2. When installing the chips, leave the metallic contacts facing down and insert them
until the end of the slot for the correct allocation of the chips.

4.4. AMT 8000 LITE Alarm Center
The AMT 8000 LITE alarm center has a built-in wired siren, and a tamper-proof switch, and if the tamper is opened/violated,
the built-in siren plus the registered sirens will trip and send the corresponding event if the Triggering Problems function is
enabled (see section Triggering Problems).
The Ethernet and AC power cables must be routed through the hole located at the back of the panel.
The installation of the center can be done on several surfaces, always placing it in a vertical position with a height between
1.80 and 2.20 meters and using double-sided tape or screws (not included) to x the base and after fastening the center,
tting and checking if it has been properly placed to avoid falls and damage and guiding the wires in the dedicated areas.
5. Operation
Once the installation is complete, turn on the center by connecting it to the local power grid and to the rechargeable
battery.
Note:
to turn on the AMT 8000 LITE alarm center it must be connected to the AC mains and the 5-wire cable from the
power supply must be connected to the Power Supply connector on the alarm center board, otherwise, the center will not
turn on even if the power supply is on battery. With the center on and the battery connected, it will be recharged by the
power supply and when the AC power fails, the center will be maintained by battery power.
