thermohygrostatisneeded(suchasserverroom,
machineryroom,computerroom,etc.)Thoseplacesdo
notprovideguaranteedoperationconditionoftheproduct
thereforeperformancecanbepoorintheseplaces.
• Donotinstalltheproductinashiporavehicle(such
asacampervan).Salt,vibrationorotherenvironmental
factormaycausetheproductmalfunction,electric
shockorfire.

Ourunitsshouldbeinstalledincompliancewiththe
spacesshownintheinstallationmanual,toensure
accessibilityfrombothsidesandallowrepairsor
maintenanceoperationstobecarriedout.Theunit’s
componentsshouldbeaccessibleandeasytodisassemble
withoutendangeringpeopleandobjects.
Forthisreason,whenprovisionsoftheinstallationmanual
arenotcompliedwith,thecostrequiredtoaccessand
repairtheunits(inSAFETYCONDITIONS,assetoutin
prevailingregulations)withharnesses,ladders,scaffolding
oranyotherelevationsystemwillNOTbeconsideredpart
ofthewarrantyandwillbechargedtotheendcustomer.
Do not install the air conditioner in following places.
• Placewherethereismineraloilorarsenicacid.Resin
partsflameandtheaccessoriesmaydroporwater
mayleak.Thecapacityoftheheatexchangermay
reduceortheairconditionermaybeoutoforder.
• Theplacewherecorrosivegassuchassulphuricacid
gasgeneratesfromtheventpipeorairoutlet.
• Thecopperpipeorconnectionpipemaycorrodeand
refrigerantmayleak.
• Theplacewherethereisamachinethatgenerates
electromagneticwaves.Theairconditionermaynot
operatenormallyduetocontrolsystem.
• Theplacewherethereisadangerofexisting
combustiblegas,carbonfibreorflammabledust.
• Theplacewherethinnerorgasolineishandled.Gas
mayleakanditmaycausefire.

Alwaysmakesurethatthepowersupplyiscompliantwith
currentsafetystandards.Alwaysinstalltheairconditioner
incompliancewithcurrentlocalsafetystandards.
• Alwaysverifythatasuitablegroundingconnectionis
available.
• Verifythatthevoltageandfrequencyofthepower
supplycomplywiththespecificationsandthatthe
installedpowerissufficienttoensuretheoperationof
anyotherdomesticapplianceconnectedtothesame
electriclines.
• Alwaysverifythatthecut-offandprotectionswitches
aresuitablydimensioned.
• Verifythattheairconditionerisconnectedtothepower
supplyinaccordancewiththeinstructionsprovidedin
thewiringdiagramincludedinthemanual.
• Alwaysverifythatelectricconnections(cableentry,
sectionofleads,protections…)arecompliantwith
theelectricspecificationsandwiththeinstructions
providedinthewiringscheme.Alwaysverifythatall
connectionscomplywiththestandardsapplicableto
theinstallationofairconditioners.
• Devicesdisconnectedfromthepowersupplyshould
becompletelydisconnectedintheconditionof
overvoltagecategory.
• Besurenottoperformpowercablemodification,
extensionwiring,andmultiplewireconnection.
– Itmaycauseelectricshockorfireduetopoor
connection,poorinsulation,orcurrentlimit
override.
– Whenextensionwiringisrequiredduetopower
linedamage,referto"Step13Optional:Extending
thepowercable"intheinstallationmanual.
CAUTION
Make sure that you earth the cables.
• Donotconnecttheearthwiretothegaspipe,water
pipe,lightingrodortelephonewire.Ifearthingisnot
complete,electricshockorfiremayoccur.
Install the circuit breaker.
• Ifthecircuitbreakerisnotinstalled,electricshockor
firemayoccur.
Make sure that the condensed water dripping from the
drain hose runs out properly and safely.
Install the power cable and communication cable of
the indoor and outdoor unit at least 1m away from the
electric appliance.
Install the indoor unit away from lighting apparatus
using the ballast.
• Ifyouusethewirelessremotecontrol,receptionerror
mayoccurduetotheballastofthelightingapparatus.
