Usage Guide
Set Up for Accuracy
The scale must be on a flat surface
Ramps must not touch anything, including the floor, after loading
Avoid factors that aect accuracy, such as fans, extra
moisture or other issues
Keep the scale clean of debris
Tare wheelchair weight by placing the empty wheelchair
on the scale and pushing the Tare button
Gross weight should read 0.00 before the patient is weighed
on the scale
Remove accessories such as blankets, coats and handbags
before weighing
Safety First
Never leave a patient unattended
Set the wheelchair brakes once the patient is on the scale
Orient the scale for easiest entry and exit to ensure ramps
are clearly accessible
Only use ramps for entry and exit, do not enter
or exit the scale over non-ramp sides
