Natural Reed Fencing
End Use and Care Guide
Decorative reed fencing is an affordable garden accent landscaping product. It is
constructed with thin natural reeds fastened together with steel wire every four inches.
Because reed fencing is a natural resource, the color will weather over time just like real
wood decking.
Natural reed fencing is light filtering, meaning that light will filter through the spaces
between the reeds. It can help provide additional privacy and protection from the wind
as well as create a beautiful garden backdrop.
End Use
Reed fencing should not be considered a privacy fence, but a cost effective way to
cover a chain- link or unsightly wood fence for aesthetic reasons. If you are looking to
add more privacy to your current fence, you will need to layer the fencing 2-3 times
depending on the level of privacy desired. One layer of fencing will not provide privacy.
Planning a tiki, luau, or pool party? Reed fencing is often used as a tropical accent
material to construct tiki bars, cabanas, palapas, and even gazebos.
Installation
Reed fencing is designed to be attached to a current fence with cable ties or additional
steel wire (not included in the package) and cannot stand on its own.
Care
Reed fencing cannot be painted. To care for your fence, we suggest a light application
of water occasionally.
