You need to install a cable management bracket for an SR6616-X router. For the SR6604-
X and SR6608-X, the cable management bracket is attached to the mounting brackets on
the routers. SR6616-X路由器需要单独安装走线架；对于SR6604-X/SR6608-X路由器，走
线架集成在挂耳上，无需单独安装。

Connecting the grounding cable
Install the router in the rack.

To connect the grounding cable:
1. Make sure the rack is securely grounded.
2. Attach the building grounding cable to the grounding strip on the rack.
3. Connect the router and the grounding strip on the rack with the provided grounding cable.
Correctly connecting the router grounding cable is crucial to lightning protection and EMI
protection.路由器地线的正确连接是路由器防雷、防干扰的重要保障，请使用设备随机提
供的保护地线正确接地。

Connecting the power cable
Before connecting the power cable, make sure the router is correctly grounded. 连接电源
线前，需保证设备已正确接地。
Make sure the power switch is off and connect the power cable to the router first to avoid
bodily injury. Then connect the power cable to the equipment-room power supply system.
在连接电源线时，请确认路由器电源开关处于关闭状态，先完成电源线与路由器侧的连
接，再进行电源线与机房供电系统的连接，以免造成人身伤害。
