Back Box Mounting Base
Ax61BB
The Ax61BB is an extension back box for cable management and can be used for surface,
pendant or horizontal wall mounting of the Ax47/67R, Ax46/66R, and Ax40W camera series.
o Back box for IP Camera Wire Management
o Suitable for outdoor and indoor installations
o Six (6) pre-drilled hole dimples for surface mounting
o Optional use with Pendant Mount EMT Pipe 3/4” or DB60 Horizontal Wallmount bracket

In addition to this manual and an Ax61BB back box, the packing box includes:
1. Round Head Screw, ǫ´ (Machine Type) x4
2. Round Head Screw, 1½” (Tapping Type) with O-ring x4

Important:
In outdoor installations, add silicone to the DB60 Goose neck bracket or EMT
pipe threads (if using) and tighten the provided tapping screws to fully compress the ‘O’ ring.
1. Install Ax61BB for surface, pendant, or horizontal wall mounting, as required.
2. In indoor surface installations, position the 1/2” thread to the rear or to the top. In
outdoor installations, position the 1/2” thread to the bottom, to aid in weather-proofing.
3. Ax61BB comes with six (6) 90% pre-drilled hole dimples. For surface mounting,
complete drilling a minimum of two holes.
4. Pull the camera’s CAT5/6 cable into the Ax61BB housing, feed into the waterproof
connector (not supplied) and attach RJ45 connector.
5. Place the connector in line with the center wall and rotate the retaining clip to hold the
connector in place and prevent it from dropping out. This will aid when rotating the
camera base housing to guide the cable and find the mounting holes.
6. Camera mounting holes are identified on the lip of the Ax61BB back box with a
triangle (3) for the Ax47/67R and Ax46/66R cameras and with a notch (6) for the Ax40W
cameras.
