BLOTZ B10-CS-008, B10_CS_008 Assembly Instructions

  • Hello! I've reviewed the instructions for the BLOTZ Hospital Foyer B10-CS-204 and Hospital Damaged Section B10-CS-257. The document provides detailed steps on how to assemble the model using PVA glue, starting with removing parts and carefully sticking them together. The instructions also cover how to apply wall coverings. I'm ready to answer any questions you have about assembling these models.
  • What type of glue is required for assembly?
What tool is needed to remove sections from the sprue?
What can be used to clean the joints?
What can be used to hold the pieces while the glue dries?
10mm 5x5 ‘L-Shape’ Hospital Foyer
B10-CS-204
Please read these instructions fully before starting construction.
PVA or equivalent glue will be required to stick sections together.
Sand paper can be used to gently clean any joints.
A sharp modelling knife will be required to remove sections from the sprue. Please use knives with due
care and remember to cut away from yourself at all times.
During the construction of this model, you may find it convenient to use pegs / elastic bands to hold
pieces in place while you allow glue to dry.
Foyer (B10-CS-204)
Start by removing the wall sections and internal
frame shown above from the sprue. Note the
walls sections are labelled ‘A’ to ‘F’ and run
clockwise starting from the long wall on the left
of the picture.
Glue walls ‘A’ to ‘D’ into place using the lugs provided.
Attach the foyer cover and bracer to wall section
‘E’ as shown.
Push the lugs of wall ‘E’ into those of ‘D’, along with
the lugs from the foyer roof and bracer – then push
wall ‘E’ so that it connects to the framework. Glue the
door section into place. Finally attach end wall ‘F’.
Apply some glue to the back of the wall covering
for ‘D’ and slide it over the foyer roof section (at
a slight angle to wall ‘D’. When it is in place, push
it flush to wall ‘D’.
Repeat the process for the wall covering for wall ‘E’,
then move round the building, gluing the coverings
into place.
Showing the coving for wall ‘A’.

the floor section.
Starting with wall ‘A’ glue them to the framework,
working clockwise around the model. Leave to dry.
Attach the wall coverings to walls ‘D’, then ‘E’
before attaching the rest of the wall coverings.
Finally, glue a rectangular support to the back of each
wall section at the base (see example above).
