These installation instructions apply to the model:

A Information on the necessary mains voltage, type of current and fuse protection can be taken from the identification plate.

A Before installing the appliance, adhere spacers A (included in the scope of delivery) to the hinge side. Secure the appliance to the

kitchen cabinet at the top and bottom with 2 × 2 chipboard screws from the pack.

Installation without ventilation grille (indirect ventilation)

* Allow a gap – at the top and bottom – less than the width of the appliance to ensure proper ventilation (sheets 5–13 in the technical

guide on kitchen planning and design KVS).

Shadow gaps alone – even if extended over several elements – are not sufficient.

The appliance can be built in with indirect ventilation (installation height SMS 10/6) or in the case of direct ventilation with

separate ventilation grilles (installation height SMS 11/6).

The appliance door does not have to be removed for the decor panel to be mounted.

A Unscrew the door handle. Using a screwdriver, remove the handle inlay. Unscrew cross-

recessed head screws as they become visible.

A Drill through-holes in decor panel for handle screws.

A Unscrew the upper part of the decor frame. Loosen the screws of the lower part enough

so that you can pull it forward. Push the decor plate into the gap from above. Press the

decor frame down firmly and tighten the screws. Insert and tighten screws in the upper

part of the decor frame. Screw in the door handle and clip on the handle inlay.

A Set the thermostat to the «0» position if it is not intended that the appliance be used im-

mediately after installation.

A Check the height, width and depth of the niche against the appliance's installation guidelines.

A Place plinth rails C right up to the side walls, place on the floor and, observing the 80 mm measurement, screw to the floor and the

side walls K.

A Secure the fastening plate D to the appliance with the plate nuts.

A Insert the plug into the mains socket. Put the appliance on the rails in the niche.

A Align the appliance in the niche so that it is flush at the front and secure the fastening plate to the niche G.

A Secure top and bottom ventilation grilles B to the appliance with self-tapping screws H. Then screw to the niche with the wood

screws J.

A Insert cover caps I in screw driver through-holes of ventilation grille.
