As a switching relay, there are two high-performance MOSFETs in the I/O
module. The actuators can be mechanically controlled continuously and free of
wear from the I/O module's semiconductor outputs. The MOSFETs are non-
isolated, i.e., the potential for the field supply touches one of the relay contacts (0

Use additional supply module!
Use an additional supply module if I/O modules require a field supply not equal to
24 VDC. Insert the supply module in front of the module that requires the
different supply.

The I/O module receives the 0 V ... 230 V AC/DC power supply, the N potential
and the ground potential for the field level from an upstream I/O module and
makes the potentials available to subsequent I/O modules via the power jumper
contacts designed as spring contacts.

The maximum current to flow through the power jumper contacts is 10 A.
Greater currents can damage the contacts.
