* Hyundai recommends letting the cleaner solution sit for 6 hours to overnight if possible
in order to fully sanitize the reservoirs AND to check for leaks that may occur from
any tubing and fittings. This is a vital part of maintenance service for the POU and helps
extend the life of the machine. It is recommended to sanitize at least 2-3 times a year.

* It is required that the filters be flushed once for three minutes prior to the system being
used. This process will reduce accumulation of black “carbon fines” finding their way
into the storage tanks and ultimately into the customers drinking glass.
You do NOT require the POU to be turned on to flush the filters!

ese are the filters that require flushing. ey should all be flushed one at a time for a
minimum of 3 minutes each prior to allowing water to run to the storage tank.
1. Each filter is marked with an arrow which denotes the orientation of the
filter being flushed. Attach water feed to the INCOmING wATER ElBOw of
the Filter you are flushing.
2. Turn on valve allowing influent water to run thru filter for 3 mINUTES or until clear
water runs for at least 30 seconds. We suggest allowing water to run in a white
plastic bucket or sink to allow you to see when it runs clear.
3. Place filter back inside unit, reconnect tubing, move on to next filter and repeat
until all filters have been flushed.

After installing the POU and connecting power and water supply, turn on the red switch
in the back of the machine. e cold water “set as default can be adjusted by turning the
green dial labeled COld.
mAINTENANCE & INSTAllATION TIPS:
After the tanks are full and the hot and cold temperatures reached, the water is ready for
consumption.
Pre-flush filters prior to allowing water to migrate to the storage tanks.
Allow each system to process water to full capacity at least 2 times and completely flush
system before moving to customer location.
Carefully inspect all filters and tubing connections for leaks prior to final installation.
When transporting to installation location, be sure to do so, using all packaging unit was
shipped with.
NEVER lay unit down on its side, it is recommended not to tilt unit more than 15 degrees
prior to installation. If unit is tilted more than 15 degrees, unit should stand in vertical
position for 24 hours prior to installation.
Connect directly to electrical outlet; DO NOT use an extension cord!
After unit is properly connected to water and power, it is advisable to remain with unit for
approximately 30 minutes to observe start-up. Fittings can become loose or stressed dur-
ing transportation. Be sure to give a final check of all connections prior to walking away
from your installation for best results.
Reverse-Osmosis units produce water at a reduced and varying rate of production as com-
pared to micro or ultra filtration systems.
Time to fully satisfy the storage capacity of these systems will depend on the unit you are
installing, water pressure and the quality of the water you are purifying.
fAQ
1) THE wATER IS NOT COld ENOUGH.
Have you used too much cold water recently?
Your purifier has a specific cold and/or additional reservoir capacity so please wait a
sufficient period of time before reuse.
Have you checked the voltage of your Purifier?
Your Purifier operates at 110 V. Please do not operate at any other voltage.
Is the back panel of the purifier too close to the wall?
Certain components of your purifier cause heat and the POU should not be too close
to the wall or other structure.
Is the Purifier in direct sunlight or near a heat source?
Please move your product to another location away from the heat source.
Is the temperature of the water supply appropriate?
e water feed temperature should be less then 86°F (30°C).
2) THE wATER IS NOT HOT ENOUGH.
Have you used too much hot water recently?
Please wait a sufficient period of time before re-use.
Is the hot water switch set to ‘off ’?
e hot water switch is located on the back panel of the purifier; please ensure it is
set to ‘on’.
Is the water supply adequate?
Insufficient supply of water could be the reason – ensure the tank is filled with water.
3) THE wATER PURIfIER IS NOT fUNCTIONING PROPERly.
Is this a power failure?
Please check the power supply with other electrical appliances. Also check if the fuse
is disconnected or burnt. Please consult with an electrician for replacement.
Is the purifier emitting an irregular sound?
Please ensure the area of installation is flat and solid.
e purifiers may emit a vibration upon a first install and this is completely
normal as the auto-shut-off valve is under pressure. After the initial install and flush
is done, this sound will be minimized.

4) ere is an unpleasant taste or strange odor.
Have you replace the filters recently?
Replace the Post Carbon Filter (4th in sequence) and clean the water tank by empty-
ing the reservoir tanks (via drain tubes located on either the front or back of the
unit). If the taste or odor persists, replace all filters.
5) Particles in water are appearing as salt or ice.
Please discharge all water from the reservoir tanks and consult your Dealer.
6) ere seems to be a water leakage.
Turn off the unit. Check the condition of the quick-connect hoses from filter to filter
and tighten or adjust where necessary. Also check the lines from the reservoir tanks.
Please consult with your Dealer if leaking persists.
