The Cocoon IT315003 is a single outdoor HD wireless IP camera that can be used to monitor your home or business remotely. 1. UNPACK
Unpack the Cocoon Single Outdoor HD Wireless IP Camera from the packaging and check you have all the
components:
1x IP Camera
1x Wi-Fi Antenna
1x Adaptor
1x 1M Ethernet Cable
4x Mounting Screws with sleeves
1x Allen Key
1x CD-ROM
1x Getting Started Guide
1x Instruction Manual
1x Warranty Card

4. DOWNLOAD AND SETUP COT PRO
a. Using an Android device; install the ‘COT Pro’ app from the Google Play Store*
b. Using an Apple device; install the ‘COT Pro’ app from iTunes App Store*
Once the app has downloaded and completed installation, launch the app
If this is your rst time using COT Pro, you will need to create an account. Select ‘Register by
email’ at the bottom of the COT Pro login screen and follow the steps to create a new account

3. CONNECT TO POWER
Using the included power adaptor, connect one end to the Adaptor Port on the IP Camera, then connect the other
end to a power outlet and switch on
Note - The antenna will have some connector thread remaining
2. ATTACH ANTENNA
Screw the Wi-Fi Antenna onto the connector located on the side of the IP Camera, until the
antenna is rmly in place

5. INSERT ETHERNET CABLE
Insert Ethernet cable into the camera’s Ethernet port. Insert the other end of the cable into your router’s Ethernet port
7. MOUNT SECURITY CAMERA
Using the screw accessories provided, mount the IP Camera to your desired location. The cables can either be
threaded through your mounting surface, or through the side of the mounting plate

8. SUCCESS
You have now successfully set up your Cocoon Single Outdoor HD Wireless IP Camera. Using the COT Pro app, you
are able to log on remotely using a 3G or 4G connection

Note - Test camera is working correctly in it’s nal position before permanently mounting

6. PAIR WITH COT PRO
a. While connected to your home Wi-Fi network, press the ‘+’ button on the COT Pro app home screen and
then select ‘Manual’
b. Enter the ID number located on the camera
c. Input a device name of your choice
d. Enter the default password, 123. Then press ‘Save’
e. Once paired successfully, your camera will now be shown in the ‘My Camera’ folder. To commence viewing
the camera, simply press the image
f. To change the camera to WiFi mode, select the camera’s ‘Camera Settings’ button from the My Camera
folder. Select ‘Network Settings’, then select your WiFi network SSID name. Enter your WiFi password to
change to WiFi mode. The Ethernet Cable can now be removed
Note: ‘Smart wi’/’Wi-Fi Connect’ is not compatible with this camera
