Zebra ST3113 is a Vehicle Power Outlet Adaptor that allows you to power your handheld devices and recharge their batteries using power from your vehicle’s automotive power outlet. To use the adaptor, you will need to attach a Snap Module to the base of your handheld device, insert the DC power plug on the Vehicle Power Outlet Adaptor into the DC IN port on the Snap Module, and insert the Vehicle Power Outlet Adaptor plug into the automotive power outlet in your vehicle. The adaptor will continue to charge the battery whether the handheld device is switched on or off.

The Vehicle Power Outlet Adaptor allows you to power your hand-held and recharge your battery using power drawn from your vehicle’s

automotive power outlet when used in conjunction with a Snap Module.

1. Attach a Snap Module to the base of the hand-held.

2. Insert the DC power plug on the Vehicle Power Outlet Adaptor into the DC IN port on the Snap Module.

3. Insert the Vehicle Power Outlet Adaptor plug into the automotive power outlet in your vehicle.

Installation — Chargers and Docking Stations

When installing a charger or docking station, consider the following guidelines:

1. Keep chargers and docking stations away from excessive dirt, dust, water and other liquids, and contaminants.

2. Chargers will not charge batteries outside an ambient temperature range of 0°C to 40°C (32°F to 104°F). It is recommended that the

charger or docking station be operated at room temperature — between 18°C and 25°C (64°F to 77°F) for maximum performance.

After unpacking your unit:

1. Visually inspect the charger for possible damage.

2. Install the IEC power cord (if applicable) and apply power.

Operator Controls

The Omnii docking stations and chargers have no operator controls.

Power Consumption Considerations

Check to ensure the mains circuit supplying chargers and/or docking stations is adequate for the load, especially if several chargers and

docking stations are being powered from the same circuit.

NOTE Battery charging continues whether the hand-held is switched on or off.
