PRECAUTIONS
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits
for a Class A digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules.
These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against
harmful interference when the equipment is operated in a commercial
environment. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio
frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with
the instruction manual, may cause harmful interference to radio
communications.
Operation of this equipment in a residential area is likely to cause
harmful interference, in which case users will be required to correct the

NOTES OF USE
Power Supply
Ensure the supplied voltage meets the power consumption requirements of this
camera before powering the camera on. Incorrect voltage may cause irreparable
damage to the video camera and will effectively void the camera warranty
Operating or storage location
Avoid shooting very bright objects (such as light ttings) for an extended pe-
riod. Avoid operating or storing the unit in the following locations:
Extremely hot or cold places (operating temperature: -10
o
C to +50
o
C)
Close to sources of strong magnetism
Close to sources of powerful electromagnetic radiation, such as
radios or TV transmitters
Close to humid or excessively dusty places
Where exposed to mechanical vibrations
Close to uorescent lamps or objects reecting light
Under unstable light sources (may cause ickering)
Transportation
When transporting the camera, repack it as originally packed at the
factory, or in materials equal in quality.
Cleaning
For maximum optical clarity, the dome cover must remain clean. Use
a soft, dry cloth to remove nger prints or dust from the dome cover.
Use a blower to remove dust from the lens.
Clean the body with a soft, dry cloth. If it is very dirty, use a cloth
dampened with a small quantity of neutral detergent, then wipe dry.
Do not use volatile solvents such as alcohol, benzene, or thinners,
as they may damage the surface nishes.

MOUNTING INSTALLATION
Step 3:
Loosen the locking
screw. To remove the
cover, rotate the cover
counter clockwise.
Step 4:
Mount the camera to
the ceiling/wall

Adhere the guide pattern to the
installation surface. Drill one big
and three small holes, using the
template as a guide.

Feed the power cable, LAN cable
and other cables through the hole.

Step 6:
Align the notch with position
“P”. Rotate the cover clockwise
to lock the cover to the base.
Tighten the locking screw.
Step 7:
Turn on the Power
The camera has no main
power switch or button. To turn
the power on, insert the plug
of the power cord into a power
outlet. Turn the power on after
you have installed the camera.
Important
Check if the ceiling structure and material have a sufcient strength before installing
the camera onto a ceiling. If the amounting strength is inadequate, the camera will fall,
potentially causing an injury or a camera failure. The screws supplied as accessories
do not provide an adequate strength with some ceiling materials. For example, special
anchors are needed if the ceiling material is gypsum boards. Please consult the
building architects regarding ceiling structure and strength.

Connecting to a camera using a network
1. Connect the camera to a PoE (Power over Ethernet) enabled switch or
router using a RJ45 Cat5 or Cat6 connection cable.
1.1. Connect the users computer to the PoE switch or router.
OR
1. Connect the camera to a personal computer or a switch or router using
a RJ45 Cat5 or Cat6 connection cable.
1.1. Connect a properly grounded 24Volt AC power source to the camera.

2. Use the Annexxus Finder located on this CD to nd the Camera’s IP
address (default is 192.0.0.64)
3. Open an internet browser and type the IP Address of the camera into
the address bar. Hit enter.

4. If you cannot connect try the following:
4.1. Wait. sometimes the router or switch will take a few seconds to
refresh the routing table
4.2. Go to control panel, network connections, and properties of the LAN
or WAN the camera is connected to. Under the Internet Protocol
(TCP/IP) properties, change the 2nd section of the IP to match the
same as your camera EG IP: 192.0.0.90 Camera: 192.0.0.64
4.3. Check the connection. Ensure all cables are properly connected.
5. Login to the camera using the proper username and password
