Part Names and Functions
August SE55 will switch on automatically and enter Clock
Mode once the power cable is plugged in to the power socket.
Use M to cycle between Bluetooth and FM modes. Press and
hold Set to return to Clock mode.
Bluetooth Mode
1. Use M to select Bluetooth Mode. The display will show .
2. SE55 will automatically enter pairing status.
3. Pair your source device to SE55.
Note: SE55 will reconnect to the last paired device if it is in
range. Please disable Bluetooth on the last connected device
if pairing to a new device. Please refer to its user manual for
instructions, if you are unfamiliar with the Bluetooth feature of
your source device.
FM Radio Mode
1. Use M to select FM Radio Mode. The display will show ,
then display a radio frequency.
2. Press and hold Scan to scan for radio stations.
3. Use CH+ and CH- buttons to cycle through the saved
stations.
Audio-In Mode
1. SE55 will automatically switch to Audio-In Mode once a
3.5mm audio cable is plugged in. The display will show .
2. You can play music directly from the source device
connected to the SE55.
3. Use M to cycle through Audio-In, Bluetooth and FM Radio
modes.

Alarm Setup:
1. In Clock Mode, press and hold Set for 2 seconds to enter
Alarm Setup mode. The display will show , then the
hour will flash.
2. Use the Control Dial to adjust the hour and press Set to
confirm, then the minutes will flash.
3. Use the Control Dial to adjust the minutes and press Set to
confirm.
Time Setup
In Clock Mode, press and hold Set for 4 seconds, to pass
through Alarm Setup mode. The display will show , then
the hour will flash. Then follow procedures "2" and "3" for
Alarm Setup described above.
Alarm Clock
Press Set in Clock Mode to activate or deactivate the alarm.
The red LED will be lit whilst the alarm is activated.
The alarm will sound for 1 minute. Press Set to stop the
alarm.
To snooze the alarm for 5 minutes, press any button, except
Set.
The alarm will automatically snooze after the first time it
sounds.
Hands-free Calls
SE55 can take calls hands-free once connected to a mobile
phone.
Press Play to answer an incoming call or to end an ongoing
call.
Press and hold Play to reject an incoming call.
Use the Control Dial to adjust the call volume.

This product is in compliance with the essential requirements and
other relevant provisions of Directive 1999/5/EC. The declaration of
conformity may be consulted at August International Ltd, Unit
5 Swains Mill, Crane Mead, Ware SG12 9PY, England.
This product is guaranteed for twelve months from the date of the
original purchase. In the unlikely event of any defect arising due to
faulty materials or workmanship, the unit will be either replaced or
repaired free of charge (where possible) during this period. An
alternative product will be offered in case the product is no longer
available or repairable.
This warranty is subject to the following conditions:
The warranty is only valid within the country where the product is
purchased.
The product must be correctly installed and operated in
accordance to the instructions given in this user manual.
The product must be used solely for domestic purposes.
The warranty only covers the main units, and does not cover the
accessories.
The warranty does not cover the damage caused by misuse,
negligence, accident and natural disaster.
The warranty will be rendered invalid if the product is resold or
has been damaged by inexpert repairs. The manufactures
disclaim any liability for incidental or consequential damages.
Please consult our customer adviser before returning any
product; we are not responsible for any unexpected product
returns.
Any faulty product must be kept and returned in the original
packaging with all the accessories and the original copy of the
purchase receipt.
The warranty is in addition to, and does not diminish, your statutory
or legal rights.
