TheTopvexSoftCoolershouldbestoredandtransportedinsuchawaythatitisprotectedagainstphysical
damagethatcanharmpanels,handlesetc.Itshouldbecoveredsothatdust,rainandsnowcannotenter
anddamagetheunitanditscomponents.Theapplianceisdeliveredinonepiececontainingallnecessary
components,wrappedinplasticonapalletforeasytransportation.
WhentransportingtheT opvexSoftCooleruseaforklift,butonceinstalledontheooravoidtransfer,the
feetcandamagedduetolateralloading.
Warning
Theunitisheavy.Becarefulduringtransportandmounting.Riskofinjurythroughpinching.Use
protectiveclothing.
Becarefulsotheunitdoesn'ttipover.
6Installation
6.1Unpacking
Verifythatallorderedequipmentaredeliveredbeforestartingtheinstallation.Anydiscrepanciesfromthe
orderedequipmentmustbereportedtothesupplierofSystemairproducts.
6.2Where/howtoinstall
TopvexSoftCooleraremeantforindoorinstallation.Placetheunitonahorizontalatsurface.It’s
importantthattheunitiscompletelylevelledbeforeitisputintooperation.
TheelectroniccomponentsshouldnotbeexposedtolowertemperaturethanCandhigherthan+50°C.
Thefollowingmax.temperaturesappliesforaninterference-freeoperationoftheT opvexSoftCooler:
Outsideairmax.+33°C
Extractairmax.+28°C.
Ambienttemperaturemax.+28°C.
Whenchoosingthelocationitshouldbekeptinmindthattheunitrequiresmaintenanceregularlyandthat
theinspectiondoorsshouldbeeasilyaccessible.Leavefreespaceforopeningthedoorsandfortaking
outthemaincomponents(gure1).Generalmaintenanceincludesamongotherthingsinspectionand
cleaningofthedriptrayandangecoils.
Aoordrainmustbeavailableintheroomsothatthecondensationwatercanbedrainedoff(chapter
6.4.1.3)
Avoidplacingtheapplianceagainstawall,aslowfrequencynoisecancausevibrationsinthewallevenif
thefannoise-levelisacceptable.Ifthisisnotpossibleitisrecommendedtocarefullyinsulatethewall.

bedoneontwodifferentways,withorwithoutaby-pass-functionfortheexhaustair.
Forductconnectionwithoutby-passfunctionontheexhaustaironly4ductconnectionsareused.The
exhaustairductarethentobeconnectedtotheexhaustairductconnectionontheTopvexSoftCooler
module.TheexhaustairductconnectionontheairhandlingunitmustbelockedwiththeT opvex

Thefrequencyconverter(FC)iscontinuouslysensingthecondensingpressureviathehighpressure
sensor(HPS)andgraduallyslowsdownthespeedofthecompressor(CPR),ifthepressureexceeds
thesetlimitationvalue.Thisisdonetoavoidahighpressurealarm.
7.5By-passfunction(option)
Toreducetheenergyusefortheextractfanwhenthereisnocoolingdemandtheexhaustby-pass
damper(accessory)isopenedandtherebytheexhaustairdoesnotpassthecondenser(CO).Atstopped
unitalldampersareclosed.
