CLEANING TIPS

Treat the xture gently! Regular cleaning will reduce the need for deep cleaning. For regular cleaning, turn off the light and wipe down the

xture with a clean lint-free cotton or microber cloth. Never spray cleaner directly onto the xture. Dry with a lint-free or microber cloth.

PREPARING FOR INSTALLATION

Remove all of the contents from the carton. See the important notes above.

Remove the old xture from the ceiling, including the old mounting strap.

1.Takethemountingstrapassemblyfromthepartsbag.Mountingstrap(B)contains

threadedholes.Twoofmountingscrews(A)shouldbeattachedtomountingstrap

(B).Youmayneedtotightennuts(C)thatholdthesescrewsinplace.

2.Placemountingstrap(B)overthejunctionboxsothatmountingscrews(A)are

vertical,andinalignmentwiththeholelocationsonthexture’scanopy(F).Secure

mountingstrap(B)tothejunctionboxwithmountingscrews(D)andascrewdriver.

Tightenthescrewssecurely.

ASSEMBLING THE FIXTURE

3.Foradjustingtheheightofxture,thisxturehasanadjustablewovencord(Q).

Threadcord(Q)throughtswivel(G)ofcanopy(F).Bymeasuring,decidethedesired

overallheightofyourxtureanddeterminehowmuchofcord(Q)isneededto

achievethedesiredheight.Addatleast8to10inchestoyourdesiredlengthofcord

beforeusingkeyholescrew(I)onswivel(G)totightenandlockcord(Q)intoplace.

Youmaytrimorwraptheexcesscord.

FINISHING THE INSTALLATION

5.Pushcanopy(F)uptotheceilingandtightlythreaddecorativenuts(H)ontotheexposedthreadsofmountingscrews(A).

6.Securespider(K)toshade(N)withscrews(M)anddecorativecaps(L).Carefullyslideassembledspider(K)andshade(N)oversocket

(J)andsecuretheshadesinplacewithsocketrings(O).

7.Twistlightbulbs(P-notprovided)intosockets(J)inaccordancewiththexture’sspecications.Donotexceedthemaximum

wattage.

Yourinstallationisnowcomplete.Turnonthepowerandtestthexture.

4.Haveanassistantsupportthexture’s

weightwhilecompletingthewiring.Refertothe

wiringdiagrambelowandattachthexture’s

wirestothepowersupplywiresfromthe

junctionbox.ConnectHottoHot,Neutralto

Neutral,andGroundtoGround.Twisttheends

ofthewirepairstogether,andthentwistona

wireconnector.Makesurealltwistsareinthe

samedirection.Ifthereisnohousegroundwire

comingfromthejunctionbox,locateground

screw(E)onthemountingbracket/mounting

strapandwrapthexture’sgroundwirearound

thegroundscrew.Useascrewdrivertotighten

thetopofgroundscrew(E)ontothewiresand

intothemountingbracket/mountingstrap.Tuck

thewiresintothejunctionbox.
