Installation
Grid Ceiling Installation
Select a suitable location that can support the weight of the fixture. Determine the method of mounting before beginning installation.
WARNING: RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK. Ensure the electricity to the wires you are working on is shut off. Either remove the fuse or turn off the
circuit breaker before removing the existing light fixture or installing the new one.
With the power disconnected to the electrical box, remove the existing fixture. Make a sketch of how the current fixture is wired (by wire
color) or mark the wires with masking tape and a pencil so you will know how to properly reconnect the wires to the new LED light fixture.
1
Replacing existing light fixture
Remove the existing light fixture from the grid
ceiling.
CAUTION: The weight of the LED flat panel (A) is not designed to be supported by the ceiling grid. The LED flat panel should be connected
back to the structure. Failure to do so can cause serious injury.
Mounting Clip
2
Securing the flat panel
Bend each of the mounting
clips on the back of the LED
flat panel (A) upward until
they are perpendicular to the
back surface of the flat panel.
Bend the top part of each
mounting clip 90 degrees so
the hook is facing outward.
Place the LED flat panel (A)
into the ceiling grid, hooking
the mounting clips over the
grid ceiling supports to secure
the LED flat panel (A).
