2 Safety

3 Intended use
This device serves as an end device for communication with the outdoor station. Support
intercom, call guard unit, unlock, visualization for surveillance, alarm and home automation, and
so on. Suitable for surface-mounted installation.

Note
Any of the eight zones can be connected as one of the above four ways,
according to the actual situation.
For the connection of the same type of zones, please according to
"Connection of multiple detectors"
The unused zone interfaces should be closed in the "Set alarm zone
attribute" or the interfaces should be ground shielded with a 10 K resistor.
It needs to be set in the zone property after the connection is finished.
You can use "Start test mode" to detect whether the zone is working
properly. For details, please refer to the chapter "Set alarm zone attribute".

7.1 Requirement for the electrician
Warning
Electric voltage!
Install the device only if you have the necessary electrical engineering
knowledge and experience.
Incorrect installation endangers your life and that of the user of the electrical
system.
Incorrect installation can cause serious damage to property, e.g. due to fire.
The minimum necessary expert knowledge and requirements for the installation
are as follows:
Apply the "five safety rules" (DIN VDE 0105, EN 50110):
1. Disconnect
2. Secure against being re-connected
3. Ensure there is no voltage
4. Connect to earth and short-circuit
5. Cover or barricade adjacent live parts.
Use suitable personal protective clothing.
Use only suitable tools and measuring devices.
Check the type of supply network (TN system, IT system, TT system) to
secure the following power supply conditions (classic connection to ground,
protective grounding, necessary additional measures, etc.).

8.1 Basic setting

Press the function button of the indoor station to open the "Basic setting" interface.
On the list on the left side, select "Volume", and then click "Select" to enter the setting
interface.
On the volume settings page,
Click "+" and "-" of "Ringtone Volume" to adjust the volume of the ring of the indoor station.
The sound of the touch screen can be switched on by checking "Touch Tone". (The system is
turned on by default)
The button sound can be switched on by checking "Button Tone". (The system is turned on by
default)
Click "OK" to save the settings.

Press the function button of the indoor station to open the "Basic setting" interface.
On the list on the left side, select "Sound", and then click "Select" to enter the setting
interface.
On the sound settings page, it is possible to customize the ringtones of calls from different
devices. For example, an outdoor station, guard unit or other devices.
The system has five ringtones to choose from. Click "Select Ringtone" to select a ringtone from
the SD card. (Only mp3 and wav formats are supported)
It is recommended that the ringtone file is placed in the SD card’s media directory.
Click “OK” to save the settings.

Press the function button of the indoor station to open the "Basic setting" interface.
On the list on the left side, select "Display", and then click "Select" to enter the setting
interface.
On the display setting page,
Click "+" and "-” of "Brightness" to adjust the brightness of the indoor station.
In the "Screensaver Start" drop-down list, select the screensaver start time.
In the "Screensaver End" drop-down list, select the screensaver end time.
Click "Calibration" to calibrate the screen of the indoor station. (Click on the five positions in
order)
Check "Automatic Fullscreen" to activate the automatic fullscreen function when there is an
incoming call.
Screensaver type can be selected in the "Select Screensaver" drop-down list.
If "Clock Digital" is selected, the screensaver displays the current time at a random position
on the screen.
If "Internal Picture" is selected, the screensaver plays three pictures of the indoor station
system on a loop.
If "External Picture" is selected, the screensaver plays multiple pictures from the SD card’s
photo directory.
(jpg and jpeg picture formats are supported. The highest picture resolution supported is 2048 x
1600. The largest picture size is 1M.)
It is recommended that the pictures are placed in the SD card’s photo directory.
Click “OK” to save the settings.

Press the function button of the indoor station to open the "Basic setting" interface.
On the left side of the list, select "Date and time", and then click "Select" to enter the setting
interface.
On the date and time setting page,
In the "Time Format" drop-down list, select the type of time.
In the "Date Format" drop-down list, select the type of date.
Click "+" and"-" of "Time” to set the time and press and hold "+" and "-" to speed up the
changing of the numbers.
Click "+" and "-” of "Date" to set the date and press and hold "+ and "-" to speed up the
changing of the numbers.
The times of the indoor station and PC guard center can be synchronized by checking "Time
Sync". (Provided that the indoor station can be connected to the PC guard center)
Click “OK” to save the settings.

On the list on the left side, select "Languages", and then click "Select" to enter the setting
interface.
On the language setting page, select the language required and click “OK” to save the settings.
The language can also be selected directly when the indoor station is powered up for the first
time or when the factory settings are restored.
