HM-1 HOME THEATER JUNCTION BOX
SPECIFICATIONS
WIRING
Connectors: Front: Three quad spring clips.
Rear: Screw Type (handle 26 to 12 gauge wire).
Mounting: Fits most double gang junction boxes.
The HM-1 Home Theater Junction Box is designed to offer a versatile central wiring location for home theater
speaker systems, although it can be used for any installation where a central wiring location would be desirable.
The wiring diagram below shows a typical home theater type installation. Please observe the following guide lines
when wiring your HM-1.
1. Make connections by stripping the wire insulation back about 3/16". Twist any loose strands
tightly.
2. Insert the wires into the openings of the connectors (paying particular attention to the polarity
+ and - of all connections), and tighten the screws. Check for any loose strands that might cause
a short circuit. Make sure that the metal part of the screw connector engages the bare wire, NOT
the insulation.
Your AUDIOPLEX TECHNOLOGY HM-1 is covered by a Lifetime warranty against any defects in workmanship and

Damage incurred by shipping or accident is not considered to be a defect, and not covered by this warranty. AUDIOPLEX
