driveunderthem,anddonotcontactthem.
ReplacedamagedROPScomponents.Donot
repairoralterthem.
Thereisnorolloverprotectionwhentherollbar
isdown.
Wheelsdroppingoveredges,oversteepbanks,or
intowatercancausearollover,whichmayresult
inseriousinjuryordeath.
Donotweartheseatbeltwhentherollbarisdown.
Lowertherollbaronlywhenabsolutelynecessary;
raiseitassoonasclearancepermits.
Intheeventofarollover,takethemachinetoan
AuthorizedServiceDealertoinspecttheROPS.

2.Disengagetheblade-controlswitch.
3.Movethemotion-controlleversoutwardtotheNEUTRAL-LOCKposition.
4.Engagetheparkingbrake.
5.Shutofftheengineandremovethekey.

1.Disconnectthenegativebatterycable.
2.Removeanddiscardtheupperroll-bartubeand
itshardwarefromthelowertubes.
3.Ontheleftsideofthemachine,removeand
retainthefuelcapandhardwareattachingthe
fendertotheframe.
4.Removethefenderfromthemachine.
Retainthefender.
5.Installthefuelcaptopreventdebrisfromgetting
inthetank.
6.Ontherightsideofthemachine,removeand
retainthehardwareattachingthefendertothe
frame.
7.Withthecontrolpanelstillattachedtothefender,
removethefenderandsetitonthetire.
8.Removeandretaintherearstylingsidebrackets
(ifequipped).
9.Removeanddiscardthehardwareattachingthe
lowerroll-bartubestotheframe.
10.CarefullyremoveanddiscardtheROPSfrom
themachine.

Operation
Usingthe
Rollover-ProtectionSystem
(ROPS)
WARNING
Toavoidinjuryordeathfromrollover,keep
therollbarinthefullyraised,lockedposition
andusetheseatbelt.
Ensurethattheseatissecuredtothe
machine.
WARNING
Thereisnorolloverprotectionwhentheroll
barisinthedownposition.
Lowertherollbaronlywhenabsolutely
necessary.
Donotweartheseatbeltwhentherollbar
isinthedownposition.
Driveslowlyandcarefully.
Raisetherollbarassoonasclearance
permits.
Checkcarefullyforoverheadclearances
(i.e.,branches,doorways,electricalwires)
beforedrivingunderanyobjectsanddo
notcontactthem.
LoweringtheRollBar
Important:Lowertherollbaronlywhen
absolutelynecessary.
