FAST & LIGHT MK2 Specication
1a. Open the brolly and depressing the green button fully, slide the central sliding
handle up the centre pole rmly until it clicks. 1b. Please ensure that the green
button has located correctly before releasing the pressure.
It is advisable that the rst time you use the brolly it is pitched at home in
your garden to familiarise yourself with your new purchase.
Take care to nd a suitable location in which to pitch your brolly and take
note of the direction of any strong winds. You should take into consideration
factors such as the contours of the ground and that the ground is suitable to
peg down and use storm poles.
An open-fronted brolly needs careful consideration when erecting during
windy conditions. As such it is best positioned with the wind coming from
behind as this greatly increases stability in very high winds.
3. Standing at the front of the brolly attach two short storm rods (not supplied) on
to the storm caps located at the top of the mini-storm side.
4a. Place a peg at the base of each storm side and adjust the rod to ensure the
storm side is taut. 4b. Secure the storm rod in the tube to keep in place.
5. Now place a peg in each ring at
the rear of the brolly.
2. Unscrew the centre pole by turning
in an anti-clockwise direction and
attach the blanking cap (supplied) in
its place.
Note: This brolly can be erected
without the centre pole but we advise
using the centre pole for ease of
use especially in wind.
Note: We advise pegging the brolly
using all pegging points to hold the
brolly as fast as possible in windy
conditions.

AQUATEXX® Care and maintenance
All Aqua products will provide you with years of service providing they are
well looked aer. We recommend that your brolly is always packed away dry
or is dried as soon as possible aer a session. This prevents mildew from
forming and in turn prevents damage to the materials used.
• We recommend using Grangers cleaning agents to clean your brolly.
• Wash your brolly while erect using warm water.
• Always dry thoroughly in the shade.
• Do not use detergents to clean your brolly.
• Do not use any abrasives or scrubbing agents/cloths.
• Avoid contact with fuel, oil (in baits/cooking) and chemicals as the stains from
these may be impossible to remove and will probably attack the fabric and damage the proong.
WARNING: The fabric used on this brolly is flammable. Using naked flames inside a brolly or
close to the fabric is a re hazard and should be avoided. C0 Carbon Monoxide emmisions are
dangerous and highly toxic. Avoid the use of cooking stoves and fuel burning heaters inside the
brolly without adequate ventilation.
• Avoid pitching under trees as sap may fall onto the outer and is almost impossible to remove.
• Over time the coating on the outside of the fabric will wear and the material will no longer form
droplets on the fabric and run o easily. We recommend that you re–proof the material annually.
The only product we recommend is Fabsil Gold by Grangers. Follow the Fabsil Gold instructions
when you re-proof the brolly.
Condensation
All single skin brollies are subject to condensation which is unavoidable at certain times of the
year. This can however be greatly reduced by using wraps which are available separately. The
use of a groundsheet and avoiding cooking within the connes of our brolly will also reduce the
eects of condensation.
Warranty
All Aqua products are designed and manufactured to exacting standards and are guaranteed for the
end purpose intended. Should the product fail during normal usage as a result of a component, mate-
rial or manufacturing fault, excluding fair wear and tear, then the product will be repaired or replaced
(with the same or a similar model from the current range) at our expense and discretion. All poles and
fabric colour fading due to over exposure to the sun are excluded from fair wear and tear.
This guarantee is only valid when your brolly is used for recreational purposes, not including com-
mercial usage, eg. hiring, use by outdoor centres etc. Repairs to damage caused by accident, use in
inappropriate conditions, and normal wear and tear will be carried out where possible at a reasonable
charge. Please ensure that all products are clean and dry prior to being returned. No consequential
loss may be claimed under this guarantee. This guarantee in no way aects your statutory rights.
Repairs
We oer a comprehensive repair service whereby most repairs can be carried out on site by our team
of trained machinists. In the rst instance please ensure that the brolly comes back to us in a clean, dry
condition. We do not have the facilities to dry brollies here at Aqua and for health and safety reasons
we will not work on a soiled brolly.
Clearly mark on the brolly where the fault is using chalk/low tack tape. Please supply a detailed list
of the faults, contents, contact numbers and return address details. There are forms available on our
website that can be downloaded, printed and lled out to aid this process - to view the forms please
visit www.aquaproducts.co.uk For warranty claims please ensure you send proof of purchase (direct
Aqua customers only). If purchased through one of our premier retailers your brolly must be returned
to them.
Please ensure the brolly is packaged so as not to cause further damage and ensure the package is
insured for the full value of the contents. We cannot be held responsible for damage caused in transit
or for lost parcels.
All repairs, unless under warranty, will be quoted for
before any work takes place and we aim to turn
around repairs within 10 working days, subject to
parts/peak times etc.
No brolly is guaranteed against storm damage.
