It is suggested to keep your projector running with up-to-date benefits from
features, applications, and bug improvement. For more details about
firmware upgrade instruction and improvements, please read through the
following:
Equipment:
1. A USB-A to USB-A cable.
2. Laptop or desktop computer with Microsoft OS.
Not Compatible with:
1. MacBook.
2. USB-C to USB A cable (or a Hub).
Update time:
The installation procedure will take around 4-6 minutes.
Step by Step:
1. Download firmware from BenQ website:
https://www.benq.com/en-us/support/downloads-faq/products/projector/th690st/software-
driver.html
2. Unplug power cord.
3. Long press” power” and “source” key and plug in power cord at the same
time.
4. Three flashing red light blink simultaneously on the surface of the
projector.
5. Connect the Laptop or desktop computer with the projector via the USB-A
cable.
6. Double-click the downloader file and take 4-6 minutes for firmware
upgrading.
7. It will be completed soon when pop-up a message “DEVICE NOT FUND”
8. Power on the projector until the power indicator back to standby mode
(constant orange light)
9. Check the firmware version (Go to menu-> information->firmware
version)
10. If it does not completed as expected, please unplug power cord and
press “up” and “down” key at the same time then plug in power cord,
the system will be reset and you can try again from step 6.
