Invacareguaranteesthattheirwheelchairsarefreefromdefectsand
arefullyfunctional.Thewarrantycoversallfaultsanddefectswhich
areverifiablyattributabletofaultyconstruction,substandardmaterials
orpoorworkmanship.Warrantyclaimsagainstthemanufacturermay
onlybemadebythedistributorandnotbytheuseroftheproduct.
Thewarrantydoesnotcovernormalwearandtear,theconsequences
ofimproperhandlingordamage,poormaintenanceandincorrect
assemblyorcommissioningbythepurchaserorathirdpersonor
faultswhichareattributabletocircumstancesbeyondourcontrol.
Wearingpartsarenotcoveredbytheguarantee.Thewarranty
isvoidedifmodificationsaremadetotheproductwhichwere

minimum.WeuseonlyREACHcompliantmaterialsandcomponents.

ThisActiveWheelchairisintendedtoprovidemobilitytopersons
limitedtoasittingposition.

Thewheelchaircanbeequippedwithaposturebelt.Itpreventsthe
userfromslidingdownwardinthewheelchairorfromfallingoutof
thewheelchair.Theposturebeltisnotapositioningdevice.

Aloosebeltcanallowtheusertoslipdownandcreatea
riskofstrangulation.
–Theposturebeltshouldbemountedbyaqualified
technicianandfittedbytheresponsibleprescriber.
–Alwaysmakesurethattheposturebeltistightlyfitted
acrossthelowerpelvis.
–Eachtimetheposturebeltisused,checkifitfits
properly.Changingtheseatand/orbackrestangle,
thecushionandevenyourclothesinfluencethefitof
thebelt.

Adjustingthelength

1.ShortenorextendtheloopDasrequired.
2.ThreadloopDthroughcatchAandplasticbuckleEuntilthe
loopisflat.
Ifthisadjustmentisnotsufficient,itmightberequiredtore-fitthe
posturebeltatthefixations.
