ELSTAT ELECTRONIC CONTROL SETTINGS
Run Timer
This control is fitted with a run timer. If the compressor is continuously running for longer than 30
hours the compressor will automatically be shut down. The compressor can only be restarted by
pressing the ‘ICE BANK’ button on the front of the control. This will restart the compressor and
reset the internal timer.
Electronic control delayed start.
The control is fitted with a delayed start therefore the compressor will not start as soon as the unit
is turned on. The control will display the bath temperature then the display will change to read
‘ICE’. The compressor will then start within 10 seconds.
Compressor rest timer.
The electronic control is also fitted with a compressor rest timer. This is designed to stop the
compressor restarting for 15 minutes after cutting out on full ice. This is to allow the internal system
pressures to equalise.
Electronic control setting procedure. (Note all controls are pre-set and should not require
modification)
1. Turn off the cooler at the mains power supply.
2. Holding in the rectangular button on the far left side of the display, switch on the mains
power supply.
3. The display will now be flashing three eight’s (888).
4. When the three eight’s (888) stop flashing release the button.
5. The display will now display “US”.
6. The display will now change to show the value for “US”.
7. To move through the parameters press the left hand rectangular button.
8. Check the control parameter values with the table below.
9. Note: If no button’s are pressed on the control after a period of 10 seconds the control
will return to operational mode.
