SAFETY INSTRUCTION
1. To avoid electric shock, fire or injury, please read the user manual carefully before using the appliance and
keep it for future reference.
2. This appliance is for household use only. Please use suitable power source (220-240V~/50Hz).
3. Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
4. Do not use the appliance under direct sunshine.
5. Please turn off the appliance when not in use otherwise it may result in danger.
6. Please turn off the appliance and unplug the socket when unattended otherwise it may result in danger.
7. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
8. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
9. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
10. Appliance can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
11. With any indication of malfunction (including power cord), please stop using the appliance immediately to
avoid hazard. Take it to the authorized service center for repair. Do not attempt to repair or change any parts
by yourself.
12. Please turn off and unplug the appliance before cleaning or maintenance.
13. Clean the surface of the appliance with dry cloth. Do not use corrosive detergent or solvent to clean. Do not
swash the appliance with water.
14. Please turn off and unplug the appliance when not in use, make sure the power is off before pulling out the
plug and do not pull the cord.
15. When the appliance is not in use for a prolonged period, please turn it off, unplug it, pack it well, and store it
in dry cool place.
16. Forbid to put flammable and explosive objects around the appliance, and do not use the appliance in an
environment full of flammable gas and powder. Keep away from any fire and heat sources.
17. Please put the power cord in the right place in order to avoid tripping the appliance over.
18. Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of table counters or touch hot surfaces.
19. Do not operate the appliance without load to avoid damaging the heat elements.
20. Should you accidentally allow the kettle to operate without water, the boil-dry protection will automatically
switch it off. If this should occur, allow the kettle to cool before filling with cold water and re-boiling.
21. Ensure that kettle is used on a firm and flat surface.
22. Always pour boiling water slowly and carefully without tipping the kettle too fast.
23. Be careful when opening the lid for refilling when the kettle is hot.
24. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
25. Do not touch the hot surface.
26. Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot water.
27. Avoid contacting with steam from the spout when water is boiling or just after switched off.
28. Do not use the appliance for other than intended use.
29. The kettle can only use with the stand provided.
30. If the kettle is overfilled, boiling water may be ejected.
31. The heating element surface is subject to residual heat after use.
32. Do not use the kettle outdoors.
33. WARNING: Do not remove the lid while the water is boiling.

36. CAUTION: Position the lid so that steam is directed away from the handle.

OPERATION INSTRUCTION
Before initial use
If you are using the kettle for the first time, it is recommended that you clean your kettle by boiling a full kettle
of water twice and then discard the water.
Operation
1. To fill water into the kettle, remove it from the power base and open the lid by pulling the lid opening handle,
fill with the desired amount of water to the kettle. Always fill the kettle between the minimum (0.5L) and the
maximum (1.7L) marks.
NOTE:
Too little water will result in the kettle switching off before the water has boiled.
Do not fill the water over the maximum level (1.7L), as water may spill out of the spout when boiling.
Ensure that the lid is firmly in place before connecting the power cord to the outlet.
2. Position the kettle on the power base.
3. Connect the plug into a power outlet. Press down the switch. The indicating light of the kettle will be lighted
up. Then it will start to boil the water. The kettle and the light will be switched off automatically once the
water has boiled and the switch will be uplifted. You can switch off the power by lifting the switch at any
time during water boiling.
NOTE: Ensure that the switch is clear of obstructions and the lid is firmly closed. The kettle will not turn off
if the switch is constrained or if the lid is opened and potential injury from misuse.

4. Lift the kettle from the power base and then pour the water.
NOTE: Operate carefully when pouring the water from your kettle as boiling water may result in scald:
besides, do not open the lid while the water in the kettle is hot.
5. The kettle cannot re-boil again when the switch is uplifted at the same time or immediately. It should be cool
down for 15~20 seconds before re-operate to boil water.
6. The kettle may be stored on the power base when not in use.
NOTEEnsure the power supply is turned off when the kettle is not in use.
Boil-dry protect
Should you accidentally allow the kettle to operate without water, the boil-dry protection will automatically
switch it off. If this should occur, allow the kettle to cool before filling with cold water and re-boiling.
MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTION
Care and cleaning
Always disconnect the appliance from the power outlet before cleaning.
Never immerse the kettle or cord in water.
The outside of the kettle can be wiped over with a dry cloth.
Removal of mineral deposits
Mineral deposits in tap water may cause limescale in the kettle interior. To remove limescale:
1. Fill the kettle with 3 cups of white vinegar and the remainder with water and be allowed to stand overnight.
Do not boil.
2. Empty the solution from the kettle. Any stains remaining inside the spout can be removed by rubbing with a
damp cloth. Fill the kettle with clean water, bring to boil and then discard the water. The kettle is ready to
use.
If limescale is still being found in the kettle interior, please repeat step 1 & 2.
Storage
When not in use, the power cord may be wound around the cord storage under the bottom of kettle.

1. The product has 2 years warranty from the date of purchase.
2. The warranty shall not apply:
A. to any product subjected to misuse, alteration, act of God, improper handling, improper transport, improper
testing or unauthorized repair;
B. to cosmetic problems or defects which result from normal wear and tear under ordinary use yet not affecting the
performance or use of the product;
C. if the product is disassembled or altered;
D. to any packing, transportation, export / import tax or any related expenses.
3. CUSTOMER MUST PRESENT THE SALES INVOICE OR RECEIPT FOR 2 YEARS WARRANTY

5. To prevent circuit overload and fire, no more than one adaptor or one extension unit should be inserted into a socket
outlet. (Do not connect other appliances to the socket outlet supplying an electric heater.) No adaptor should be inserted
into any extension unit or vice versa.
6. Stop using an adaptor or an extension unit or a socket if its socket holes cannot firmly hold a plug if it is too hard to
insert a plug into it.
7. This appliance must be plugged into a specific 220V socket with no less than 10A provided. Please make sure the plug
is fully plugged-in before use. Do not use any adapter or extension cord; Never use the same supply socket for this
appliance and other appliances at the same time, in order to avoid damage to this appliance.
8. THE APPLIANCE IS FOR HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY.
ENVIRONMENT
Do not throw away the appliance with the normal household waste at the end of its life, but hand it in at an
official collection point for recycling. By doing this, you help preserving the environment.
