SAFETY INSTRUCTION
1. To avoid electric shock, fire or injury, please read the user manual carefully before using the appliance and
keep it for future reference.
2. This appliance is for household use only. Please use suitable power source (220-240V~/50Hz).
3. Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
4. Do not use the appliance under direct sunshine.
5. Please turn off the appliance when not in use otherwise it may result in danger.
6. Please turn off the appliance and unplug the socket when unattended otherwise it may result in danger.
7. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
8. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
9. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
10. Appliance can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
11. With any indication of malfunction (including power cord), please stop using the appliance immediately to
avoid hazard. Take it to the authorized service center for repair. Do not attempt to repair or change any parts
by yourself.
12. Please turn off and unplug the appliance before cleaning or maintenance.
13. Clean the surface of the appliance with dry cloth. Do not use corrosive detergent or solvent to clean. Do not
swash the appliance with water.
14. Please turn off and unplug the appliance when not in use, make sure the power is off before pulling out the
plug and do not pull the cord.
15. When the appliance is not in use for a prolonged period, please turn it off, unplug it, pack it well, and store it
in dry cool place.
16. Forbid to put flammable and explosive objects around the appliance, and do not use the appliance in an
environment full of flammable gas and powder. Keep away from any fire and heat sources.
17. Please put the power cord in the right place in order to avoid tripping the appliance over.
18. Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of table counters or touch hot surfaces.
19. Do not operate the appliance without load to avoid damaging the heat elements.
20. Should you accidentally allow the kettle to operate without water, the boil-dry protection will automatically
switch it off. If this should occur, allow the kettle to cool before filling with cold water and re-boiling.
21. Ensure that kettle is used on a firm and flat surface.
22. Always pour boiling water slowly and carefully without tipping the kettle too fast.
23. Be careful when opening the lid for refilling when the kettle is hot.
24. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
25. Do not touch the hot surface.
26. Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot water.
27. Avoid contacting with steam from the spout when water is boiling or just after switched off.
28. Do not use the appliance for other than intended use.
29. The kettle can only use with the stand provided.
30. If the kettle is overfilled, boiling water may be ejected.
31. The heating element surface is subject to residual heat after use.
32. Do not use the kettle outdoors.
33. WARNING: Do not remove the lid while the water is boiling.
34. WARNING: Avoid spillage on the connector.
35. WARNING: Potential injury from misuse.
36. CAUTION: Position the lid so that steam is directed away from the handle.
37. CAUTION: Insure that the appliance is switched off before removing it from its stand.
