How to use the vehicle
Using the raincover
The picture shows how the raincover should be placed when it is
assembled correctly.
The raincover is assembled by pulling the raincover with the ope-
ning pocket over the handle. Then pull the raincover over the hood
and seat unit. Close the opening with the velcro strap. Please note
that the raincover has an opening on the hood.
Always use the raincover that accompanies the pram.
Always use the raincover when it is raining or snowing. If the strol-
ler is wet before the raincover is to be used, try if possible to wipe it
rst.
Let the raincover dry completely before it is placed back in the bag.
Loosen the wing nut (21) and tighten the adjuster knob (22), tighten
the wing nut again. Test the stroller to see if it runs straight. If it still
pulls to the right repeat the procedure.
Should the stroller pull to the left, or after the adjustment, you
can rectify this in the following two steps:
1. Still on the right side (18) but reverse the steps of the above ad-
justment. Loosen the wing nut (21) and instead of tightening the
adjuster knob (22) you loosen it by unscrewing it in the opposite
direction of the arrow.
Tighten the wing nut again.
2. Repeat the procedure on the stroller’s left side (19) by loosening
the wing nut (21) and tightening the adjuster knob (22).
Tighten the wing nut again.
IMPORTANT!
The wing nut must always be tightened after adjustment of the
adjuster knob.
Scooter S AIR :
WARNING
Never pull a pram with swivel front wheels behind you. The pram
might self turn which can lead to a safety risk if you are not cautious
and attentive.
Adjustment of track direction
The stroller is adjusted in the factory to run straight forward when it is
unloaded.
However, after a certain time the stroller might want to “pull” to the
right or left depending on the load.
Adjustment of the track direction can be done using the adjuster
knobs (19) and (20) underneath the stroller
If the stroller has a tendency to “pull” to the right in the driving
direction, do as follows on the strollers right side (20).

General care and maintenance instructions
• Never expose your vehicle to excessive sunlight for long periods of time.
• Always use a rain cover when snowing or raining.
• Never store your vehicle in cold and/or damp places.
• Should the chassis become wet, dry it off promptly. Make sure vehicle is completely dry before storing.
• If the vehicle is used near the ocean or salted roads, spray the chassis with a hose and dry.
• Always be careful with the chassis, especially during transport or storage. The surface of the chassis is
fragile.
Routine Inspection
• Regularly clean the chassis and metal parts of the vehicle; dry off and lubricate all joints of the chassis.
When the vehicle is used during the winter time, cleaning of the vehicle should be done at least once a
week. Lack of maintenance could cause corrosion. Should corrosion on the surface occur, which is a pos-
sibility, you are required to remove this with car wax.
• It is recommended to lubricate the wheel axles every three months (clean axles with a cloth prior to
lubrication). Axles may be lubricated with petroleum jelly or automobile oil.
Regularly check that:
• all chassis locking devices are functioning properly.
• all rivets, nuts and bolts are rmly tightened and not broken.
• all plastic parts are not cracked or broken.
• the wheel bearings are in a good condition.
• all Velcro fasteners are securely fastened.
• all elastic straps are in a good condition.
• the secondary locking mechanism is intact and can move freely.
• the brake works.
PLEASE OBSERVE
• Always get in touch with the retailer you purchased your vehicle from. This applies when your vehicle
requires a service with original Emmaljunga parts or in case of technical matters that require a
professional evaluation.
• The product you have chosen complies with the guarantee guidelines that apply from 1st July 2002 (SFS
2002:587). You have the right to request this information from the retailer where you purchased this ve-
hicle.
WARNING
• Tyres can when in contact with PVC-oor or other plastic materials cause discoloration. Always use wheel
protection if the vehicle is stored on delicate surfaces.
Care and maintenance
The parking brake consists of moving parts
and requires regular maintenance for correct function.
To ensure effective functioning always make sure that the parking brake is well
lubricated. Immediately remove sand, snow, ice and dirt from any moving part of
the braking system.
Use a silicon or oil based lubricant to lubricate the brake pedal, wheel axle and
brake pins on both sides of the parking brake at least once a month. Also
lubricate the release mechanism on the wheels on a similarly regular basis.
If you use your Emmaljunga pram/stroller on sandy beaches or under other dirty
and wet conditions make sure to take extra care of the parking brake and
maintain the braking system and wheels as detailed above whenever needed.
