Warning and Cautions

1. When you clean the TV set, please

pull out the power plug from AC outlet.

Don't clean the cabinet and the

screen with benzene, petrol and other

chemicals.

4. To prevent the TV set from firing

and electric shock, don't expose the

TV set to rain or moisture.

2. In order to prolong the using life of

the TV set, please place it on a

ventilated place.

5. Don't open the back cover,

otherwise it is possible to damage the

components in the TV set and harm

you.

3. Don't place the

TV set in the

sunshine or near

heat source.

6. When the TV set isn't going to be

used for long time or it is in thunder

and lightening, please pull out the

plug from AC outlet and the antenna

plug from the cover of the TV set.

Explanation on the display tube

In general, it is not needed to clean the tube surface. However, necessary,

it's surface can be cleaned with a dry cotton cloth after cutting off the power.

Don't use any cleanser. If using hard cloth, the tube surface will be damaged.

Generally speaking, to enjoy a clearer picture, we recommend that you use a CATV

system or an outdoor antenna .In different places, the suitable antenna type and position

are different.

Battery installation

Remove the batteries cover.

Insert two size AAA batteries matching

the +/-polarities of the battery to

the +/- marks inside the battery

compartment.

Tips for remote operation

The battery life should be about one year

under normal use.

If the remote control will not be used for

a long period of time or when the batteries

are worn out, remove the batteries to

prevent leakage.

Do not throw the batteries into fire. Dispose

of used batteries in the specified manner.

Do not drop, dampen or disassemble the

remote control.

Note

* It is recommended that you'd better use 75 coaxial cable to remove the

disturbance caused by airwave.

* Don't bind antenna cable and electric wire together.

Using the Remote Control

To exchange between TV and

other available video inputs

Press to conceal the sound of programs.

In the following, they are the methods on how to power on/off the TV set with the

switches on the TV and on the remote control.

2. If the TV is in the state of standby,pressthe

POWER button on the remote control,Direct-digit

button or CH+/- button .

1. Please press the power switch to switch on AC

power supply and the power indicator will light.

Note

1.When you don't operate the TV set with a remote

control,you can turn on it directly through pressing

the +/- buttons on the TV set.

2.If you want to exchange to standby status,

please press down the POWER button on the

remote control.

3.If you want to fully switch off the power supply for

the TV set, please press the power switch

button on the TV set.

Auto switch-off function

When the "Back" function is on, if an empty channel is selected or

the TV programs are ended for the day, the power will be switched

off 5 minutes later automatically. If the "OFF TIME" is on, it will be

switched off according to the presetting time. The auto power off

function does not work under video input or when the background is

off.

How to select the TV program

If the colour of a channel is abnormal

Select the desired sound.

Press the VOL+/- button to adjust the volume level.

Use the direct-digit choosing button

2. Using the CH+/- buttons

Press CH+ to increase the channel position

number.

Press CH- to decrease the channel position

number.

Press the button from 0-9 to select a one digit

channel.

If you want to select a two-digit channel, press

the Digit Select button and change it into two-

digit mode, then press the number of the

channel.

If you want to select a three-digit channel,

press the Digit Select button and change it into

three-digits mode, then press the number of the

channel.

The settings of the colour system may be

wrong. Press the TUNE button and setting

menu shown on the right will display on the

screen.

If picture colour is abnormal

Use the CH+/- buttons to select

Swap function enables quick swap to the last watched program.

Auto scan function enables automatic successive scanning of all the programs

in memory with (each channel will last about 2 seconds)."OFF" skip status

Suppose the channel number you used just

now is 8 and the channel number you are

using is 18 (as shown in the figure).

2.If you want to return to the last watched

program channel 8, you can simply press the

SWAP button.

3.If you want to return to the last watched

program channel 8, you can simply press the

SWAP button. In one word ,using the Program swap

function ,we can choose channels among the present channel and

four channels we last watched conveniently.

Auto program scan

1.If you want to select a desirable program, you

may scan all the TV programs in memory. You

can simply press the SCAN button to do this.

The programs will appear one after another

from beginning to end (each channel number

will last about 2 seconds).

2 If you want to stop the function during auto

scanning, simply press the SCAN button again.

There are three ways of searching: auto search, search and fine tune.

You may operate it either on the TV or on the remote control. Here is mainly about

the remote control.

Automatic search

2. Press the CH+/- buttons to select “AUTO

SEARCH".

3. Press the VOL+ button to ensure automatic

search function operates. All channels now playing

program will be automatically preset in order .

Press CH+/- button to check the channels.

If the color is abnormal in a certain channel,

it may be the color system has not been set

properly, so you should adjust it to the proper

system (Reference to page 6).

If you want to stop the search, just press MENU

button.

The order of the automatic search is due to the

frequency of the program, generally speaking, it is

used only at the first time you search the program,

and once the order of the program has been

confirmed, you don't have to use this function,

otherwise the order of the program will be

changed.

4.Press VOL+/- button to start searching.

VOL- button is used to search the lower frequency

channel.

VOL+ button is used to search the higher frequency

channel.

Repeat the steps until you find the channel you need.

1. Press CH+/- button or the Direct-digit Choosing button to

select a channel directly(take channel 1 for example).

Press the TUNE menu button, and the TUNE

menu display on the screen.

Press the CH+/- buttons select SEARCH

If you changed the channel number 5 seconds ago,

the channel number will disappear .If you want to know

the screen display, please press the CALL button.

till the best picture and sound are obtained.

Program skip

Press the VOL-/+ buttons to turn the

SKIP function "ON".

5. Press the TUNE button to close the menu. When you

use the CH+/- buttons to select channel, this channel will

be skipped. However, you can still use the PROGRAM

NUMBER buttons to select the skipped channel numbers.

If you want to recover the skipped channel

Use the PROGRAM NUMBER buttons to select the

channel number to be recovered.

2.Repeat those steps just now

Press the VOL-/+ buttons to turn the SKIP function "OFF".

How to select picture modes

You can quickly select the desired picture mode

from four preset modes and one customized

mode.

Press the P.STD button to select the desired

picture quality. Five kinds of picture modes (i.e.,

"STANDARD",”RICH", "USER","LISTEN",

"SOFT" ) can be selected in turn.

How to customize your own picture status

2.Press the CH+/- buttons to select the item to

adjusted, then press the VOL-/+ buttons

to obtain the desired effect.Press the PICTURE

menu button again to exit .

This TV set provides you with three timer functions such as timer on, timer off

Using on/off timer function, the TV set can

automatically turn on to a preset program or shut

down in a preset time.

buttons to select your desired channel (take 8 as

an example).

4 Repeat step 1-2 to set OFF TIME.(take 23:00

as an example)

then press the VOL -/+ buttons to adjust the

time in hour position; press again the CH+/-

buttons to select the time in minute position,

then press the VOL -/ +buttons to adjust the

value of minutes.

in hour position; press again the CH+/- buttons

to select the minute position and set the value

of the minute.(take 18:00 as an example)

When the BACKGROUD functions ON, the screen

will turnautomatically as shown "NO SIGNAL" of

moving .

after a moment .if you want to cancel the menu

diaplay right now ,press the EXIT button.

How to use the calendar function

This TV set has been designed to store the

calender from the year 1901-2099.

1. Press the MENU button ,till the

CALENDAR menu appears on the screen.

Usually ,when you press the CALL

button,the channel number will appear on

the top right corner of the screen .
