F Series Factory Colour Matching
What is Factory Colour Matching?
Factory Colour Matching is available on all Barco F series projectors. It is recommended for colour
critical multi-channel applications.
When two or more Factory Colour Matched projectors are specified Barco ensures that ‘brightness’ and
optics are chromatically matched to within a tight tolerance. This means that measured lumens and
colour coordinates are comparable, that projectors can be set up side by side at system level and
appear similar*¹.
*¹ - Achieving ‘perfect’ adjacent channel colour match at system level may require further adjustment
using Barco RealColor™.

What does this really mean?
Factory Colour Matched projectors have a comparable Gamut. This means that batch matched
projectors can be accurately colour matched using Barco RealColor™ without detrimental effect. It does
not guarantee perfect out of the box colour match.
How do I order Factory Colour Matching?
Factory Colour Matching is a chargeable service (per projector). Requirements must be declared on any
Purchase Order using Barco Part Number: R9801284.
