Dear Customer,
Congratulations on your purchase of a high-quality MAGINON®
product.
You have purchased a modern, party loudspeaker that has
outstanding technical features that are very easy to use.
The device is delivered with a 3 year warranty. In the event of
any defects in the party loudspeaker, you will need the enclosed
warranty card and the proof of purchase. Please store both of
them in a safe place.

These Operating Instructions belong to this party loudspeaker
They contain important information about the setup and use of
the device�
To facilitate the understanding of these Operating Instructions,
these “party loudspeakers” will be referred to as “speakers”
Not following the Operating Instructions can cause you to lose
data or to damage the party loudspeakers
The Operating Instructions are based on the current norms and
regulations from the E�U� Special guidelines and laws in other
countries must also be observed!
It is essential to keep the operating instructions for future
reference� If the party loudspeakers are given to a third party,
please ensure that these Operating Instructions are provided

Proper use
The speaker may only be used to play music from external
devices. It is only suitable for private and not for commercial use.
Only use the speaker as directed in the operating instructions.
Any other use is considered improper use and may cause
damage to property and loss of data.
Manufacturers or dealers accept no liability for damage resulting
from improper or incorrect use.

Electricity is dangerous!
Improper electronic installation or excessive voltage can cause
electric shock
Only connect speakers if the voltage coming from the plug
corresponds to the information on the rating plate�
Plug the speaker into an easily accessible socket so that you can
quickly unplug the speaker if there are problems�
Only use the AC adapter supplied with the device�
Do not use the speaker if it is visibly damaged or if the cable or the AC
adapter is defective�
If the speaker or accessories are damaged, they must be replaced or
repaired by the manufacturer, its service department or a similarly
qualified person to avoid danger

The housing must not be opened and repairs may only be performed
specialists� Contact a repair center that is specialized in our products�
We categorically reject any liability or warranty claims that are a result
of repairs attempted by the user, improper connections or incorrect
operation of the device�
Do not use the speaker with an external timer or a separate remote
control system�
Do not immerse the speaker or the power cord in water or any other
liquid�
Never touch the speaker if your hands are wet
Do not place any objects that have open flames on the product, e�g�,
candles, or objects filled with liquid, such as vases�
Only use the speaker in regions with tropical and/or temperate
climates�
WARNING!
The AC adapter is not protected against damage caused by
water jets or splashes.
Never remove the AC adapter by pulling on the cord. Always pull the
AC adapter itself out of the socket.
Never carry the device by the cord.
Keep the speaker and the AC adapter away from open flames and hot
surfaces.
Place the power cord in such a way that there is no danger of tripping.
Do not bend the cord and do not place the cord on sharp edges.
Never store the speaker in such a way that it could fall into a tub or
sink.
Never touch an electronic device that has fallen into water. If
something of the kind happens, immediately unplug the AC adapter.
If you do not plan on using the device for an extended period of time
or if the device does not work properly, do turn it off.

This speaker may be used by people with impaired physical, sensory
or mental abilities or lack of experience and know-how, provided they
are supervised or have received instructions for the safe use of the
speaker and they understand the potential danger arising from its
use� Children should not play with the speaker� Children should not
be allowed to clean or maintain the speaker� Keep children who are
younger than eight years of age away from the speaker and its cord�
Do not insert any objects into the speaker.
Do not leave the speaker unattended during operation.
NOTE!
Danger of damage!
Using the device for purposes other than that which was intended can lead
to damage.
When installing and mounting the speaker, keep a distance of 10 cm
from all sides to ensure adequate ventilation. Pay particular attention
to the fact that device should not covered by newspapers, table cloths
or curtains.
Place the speaker on an easily accessible, level, dry, heat-resistant
and sufficiently sturdy work surface. Do not place the speaker on a
corner or at the edge of a work surface.
To keep it from overheating, never place the speaker directly on a wall
or under a wall cabinet.
Never place the speaker on or near hot surfaces (e.g. stove burners,
etc.).

Ensure that the cord does not come into contact with any parts that
are hot.
Do not expose the speaker to high temperatures (e.g. from a heater).
Never pour any liquids into the speaker.
When cleaning the speaker, do not immerse it in water and do not use
a steam cleaner to clean it. You might otherwise damage the speaker.
Do not use the loudspeaker if tears or cracks appear on the
components or if the components become deformed. Only replace
damaged parts with original components.
Damage to the electronics or the accessories due to external factors
such as impact, falling or other influences is not covered by the
warranty and such repairs are billable.
WARNING!
Sounds that are too loud cause pressure waves
that can damage hearing� In order to prevent
hearing damage, avoid exposure to loud sounds
over a prolonged period of time�

Because of the risk of suffocation, keep plastic films and plastic
bags away from infants and young children.
NOTE!
Danger of damage!
Carelessly opening the packaging with a sharp knife or any other pointed
object can easily damage the unit.
1� Open the packaging carefully
2� Remove the packaging and any other plastic protective wrap�
3� Check the scope of supply for completeness (see Diagram A)
4 Take the speaker out of the packaging and see if the device itself or
any of its components have been damaged� If this is the case, do not
use the speaker� Contact the service address of the manufacturer
listed on the warranty card

Power supply
Use the AC adapter supplied with the speaker
To power the speaker, plug the jack of the AC adapter

into the
DC IN 12V

input jack and then plug into a properly installed
outlet.
WARNING!
Electricity is dangerous!
Before you use the speaker, observe the following: Ensure that
the power frequency matches that of the device. Do not unplug
the AC adapter or the speaker if your hands are wet.
NOTE!
If you do not intend to use the device for a prolonged period
of time, unplug the AC adapter from the outlet and from the
device itself.
Use of the input jack AUX IN
You can also play other music sources (iPod, MP3 player or
other digital audio players) through the device's speakers by
connecting the AUX input jack (AUX IN

) to the LINE OUT jack or
the headphone jack of the external unit.
1. Plug one end of the AUX cable (cable not supplied) into the
AUX IN

input jack and connect the other end of the cable
to a headphone jack or LINE OUT jack of your external device.

is located on the front side of the device.

4. You can now use the device that you have connected to the
speaker.
5. Carefully adjust the VOLUME CONTROL

on the speaker and
your external device until you reach a comfortable listening
volume.
6. Once you have finished: Turn off both the speaker and the
external device.
The / PAIR button

for play/pause only works in
Bluetooth® mode and not on devices that are connected
with a cord.
When connected via the LINE OUT jack of the external
device, you only need to adjust the volume on the
speaker. When connected through the headphone jack of
the external device, you can adjust the desired volume on
both your external device and the speaker.

Using Bluetooth®
Pairing
The term pairing refers to the process during which two devices
with Bluetooth® are wirelessly connected to each other for the
first time. This allows devices to be able to recognize each other
and to establish direct communication between both of them.
1. Press the POWER button

to turn on the speaker.
2. Activate the Bluetooth® function on your external device
and turn on the scan function to locate the "Maginon PS-15E"
speaker. (Please also refer to the instructions for the external
device, especially the instructions related to adding/setting
up a device with Bluetooth®.).
3. Once you see the list of devices on your external unit, select
“Maginon PS-15E” from the list.
4. A few seconds later, the BLUETOOTH LED

will flash and
you will hear a beep, which is confirmation that the pairing
has been successful. Start playing music through the external
device.
5. If you want to pair another device via Bluetooth: Press the
button /PAIR

and hold it. The BLUETOOTH LED
12
will
flash and the device will switch again to pairing mode.
6. If no connection can be established, switch off the speaker
and try it again. It may be necessary to reduce the distance
between the devices you wish to pair, or one of the two
devices could also already be paired with another Bluetooth
device.

7. Once the connection has been successfully established it is
automatically saved in the speaker and in the Bluetooth®
device. This way, the devices will automatically connect as
soon as the speaker and the Bluetooth® device are within
range of each other again.
8. When you turn the speaker on, it will automatically connect to
the Bluetooth® device to which it was last connected.
9. Press and hold the / PAIR

button for 3 seconds to
disconnect a paired Bluetooth device.
Playing music from an external device using
Bluetooth®
Once you have successfully managed to pair devices, you can use
wireless playback from your external devices
1. If you are not playing from an external device, press the play
button on your external device or the /PAIR

button on
the speaker to make the external device play music.
2. Press the SKIP+

for different music files on your external device.
3. You can adjust the volume either with the VOLUME CONTROL

on the speaker or on the volume control on your external
Bluetooth device. Carefully adjust it until you reach a
comfortable listening volume.
4. When you receive incoming calls on your cell phone, the music
will stop playing until you have ended the call.

1. The device has 2 input jacks that allow it to be connected by
one or two microphones. (One microphone is not supplied)

at the microphone inputs so that your voice resounds and

NOTE!
In order to avoid feedback, you should not place the micro-
phone close to the speaker.
Connecting the guitar
1. Plug the 6.3 mm cable into the GUITAR IN

guitar input jack
(cable not included) and the other end into the guitar output.
2. Press the POWER button

to turn on the device.
3. The device will automatically switch to guitar-mode.
4. Turn the volume controls

on the unit and on the guitar on,
in order to be able to adjust the volume of the guitar sound.
5. To stop playback, press the POWER

button.
